Winning Assembly 2012 over guys like MC, IdrA, and HerO, and winning MLG Summer Arena against Alicia, First, Ganzi, and LosirA aren't anything of consequence? no doubt he is amazing but you couldnt get me to say he was ever better than mvp or seed during those times During those times? Yes he was. you dont go from being less good than someone to better than that person, then worse than that person in the span of a month almost ever. and if you want to claim that you should probably have better sources than 0. people claiming a new best player in the world after every tournament is among the most sickening things in the whole sc2 scene thing, and theres a lot of sickening things. I sure didnt see this coming!

And it's not like Taeja hasn't won tournaments So one series decides who's the better player? Come on. It's not the first time this happens. A player wins a couple of foreign torunaments and suddenly he's the best player in the world. Um that's how you determine who is best at a given point. If Andy Murray is entering all these non Slam tournies and smashing Djoker and Fed and Nadal 6-2 6-3 6-2 constantly, winning most things, would he not be considered the best in the world? Is he not playing the best in the world? Point to a player that would be doing better than him, if you can't that person is the best player in the world at that given moment. That's how it works. Starleagues determine legends, but they do not determine who is playing the best in the world at every given second. So is Crank better than Taeja? Today, yes. Ah, all this seems pointless. Compared to this, the Unofficial World Champion actually makes sense.

Not taking away any credit from his brilliant mechanics but I feel he's playing a constant gamble. His information when playing is as much as you can get really, but the way he puts aggression on the Protoss is basically nothing but him being in the head of his opponent. Are 5 marines going to post a threat to a nexus first Protoss? Not really, no. You should be afraid he is not going to chronoboost his 2 gateways or even worse, going to go 4 or 5 gate p ressure after his initial nexus. I really feel against some Protoss on the ladder this style would just not work out as good. Ofcourse his superior mechanics would carry him, but as you could see in for example TSL against Bischu on Metropolis, sometimes a gamble really doesn't pay off. I feel like TaeJa basically already won the game because he is TaeJa. He worked hard for this psychological advantage, but there is absolutely no reason to be afraid in the early game more than against another Terran. Ofcourse his execution of builds is better, but even TaeJa can't make 5 marines worth 20. Also in the bigger battles, I think he's winning by excellent control. Its absolutely amazing how he focus fires and moves parts of his army, knowing absolutely how units will react and fire by heart, absolute beautiful to watch. taeja gosu control, chobo macro his macro is just so terrible sometimes its like you watch some random gm terran

You actually can't disagree with that HINT: Remember HSCV? Hint: remember IPL finals? Seed crushed Taeja. Hint: remember TSL4. IMFirst crushed Taeja. Hint: remember earlier today. Crank crushed Taeja. All I am saying is that Taeja isn't the best player in the world. And he has NEVER EVER been better than MVP. wtf? I looked over all my posts that you've quoted and I've never seen me saying he has ever been the best player in the world. I really don't understand. Do you people not look at the most current head-to-head matches for determining who's better or something?
