They will definitely shut it down if he's showing the video feed. He could cast audio-only and ask people listening to open the official OGN stream and I don't think they would have any problem with it. Of course then you run into the problem of having what he's commentating being off-synch with what your stream is showing, so It's not optimal.

Come on! | ||

If you're going to show the video feed and cast something the watchers have no reason to support the official product. That's kind of bad for the organizer. It would be like Artosis using his personal stream on TL to cast GSL from home while the broadcast was going with Khaldor and Wolf and taking half the viewers away from the official stream.

Pretty sure Sayle has work at the time OSL is on, he's always leaving for work as proleague finish's etc. As much as I'd love to see him cast I don't think we will.

No better than a doatrap cast. I don't think sayle would do well if put in the main stream. It's mostly nostalgia...objectively, he's casting ability is around Khaldor or Doa. But, he's been around awhile, he knows BW, knows the players, knows their stories, and loyalty counts for a lot in my book. SC2 English-language pro-casting is much more developed that BW English-language amateur-casting ever could be. Even CholeraSC, though awesome at the time, is pretty average by today's standards. IMO, Sayle was not trying to get on the SC2-eSports-streaming-$$$ bandwagon, he was happily casting with his 100+ viewers, making stupid jokes about the fangirls and their face-hiding micro. If the SC2 audience is coming to Proleague, great, he deserves it. But somehow I don't think he cares either way.
