PvZ is boring I feel like TvT tends to be more boring. The thing is, PvZ is boring because the match up is bad, stupid and totally dependent on the same late game stupid vortex/neural. TvT is just boring for you and some "omg tank marine vs tank marine!1!11" naysayers. lol Idk I feel like there is more to PvZ than vortex/neural. while i get the rage about people who do the "omg tank marine vs tank marine!1!11" I don't really feel like that was the tone of my post. That's why i said "you and..." On lategame there's nothing else than vortex/neural, it's a checkmate situation most part of the time. It's like if every map allowed skyterran we would see a lot of retarded and boring TvZ fungal/HKM. So you think PvZ being boring is the absolute truth (as a terran) whereas TvT being boring is obviously just people being opinionated 'naysayers'. Really? I like PvZ, the late game can drag out a bit (much like air vs air or mech vs mech TvT) but other than that it's very fun to watch.
Except, i play zerg. Now stop being biased please. And yes, my favourite matchups are the terran ones, because they allow for more strategies, pokings, etc.. making the match more entertaining for the audience. Getting deathballs are always boring.

It's rather sad how apathetic these guys are, last year in Cologne was exactly the same. There's little to no interaction with the host, the guys barely show any recognition towards the players and if you're part of the audience, you realize that people barely moving can sweat more than the average metal concert audience.
If there weren't so many Germans, like if Germany were the size of Finland, no E-Sports event would ever happen here. You know this is gamescom and not an esports event. Most of the people sitting in the audience probably didn't go there because of sc2, but because of other games. THIS. look at homestory cup and see that german audiences are normal. gamescom is not a SC2 only tournament....
The real question is; does the german audience have access to beer?

Not Germanys fault, i remember back at IEM Hannover (Cebit) people were actually mad of the crowd because they cheered to loud when moon tried to nydus huk in the finals.
Guess its just because the stage at gamescom is rather small and alot of people are pissed of because gamescom in general is not as awesome as they expected. Its way to crowded, its damn hot because the halls arent air conditioned and you have to wait 5 hours to play a game for 5 minutes. At least thats how I felt when I visited it last year. I came for the gamescom but ended just hanging around in cologne because that was way more fun.

Too many kids that weren't around for PurePwnage. That doesn't make him any less awkward if we were. That's like saying Dane Cook is funny because he has a tv show.
No, it's like saying I recognize Dane Cook's style of humor because he has a TV show that I have seen (it's a bad analogy to begin with since I was referencing something old and Dane Cook's TV show is something new). I don't think the host is awkward. I wasn't trying to say that people should like him because of PurePwnage since that humor isn't for everyone, but I think they would be familiar with what he is trying to do. In any case, I don't think he is being awkward.
I think a more reasonable comparison would be people who find 2GD awkward/obnoxious because they are unfamiliar with him.

Hasuobs looks totally like some Harkonnen guy from Dune in that small playercam.
