MC dropped down to Code B. Nestea hasn't. Quit trolling.

You ever looked at who has most prize money?

DRG was at the top for like 6 months straight. HE was in code b for half a year

I think he's referring to tournament wins/place as well.

there's a reason MC is #1 in prize money

I could be like MKP, go into sleeper mode for half a year, come out and win everything for 6 months, get the most prize money, and then drop off again. The most prize money doesn't matter that much when put into context.
Aren't we talking about consistency?

Well, there are more TL fans. Let's say ForGG won with proxy marauder and 2 port banshee vs Taeja. I think you would get a lot more posts about ForGG is cheesy and Taeja deserves to get to the finals more. And for MC to take out that cheesy ForGG in the finals.

How are there more TL fans? Millenium fans won't be at the millenium forums, they will be here. And I don't see how being a fan of someone has anything to do with cheesy strategies being cheesy or not.

Well he shouldn't be surprised about it since naturally there are a lot of liquid fans around whereas the representation for a team like Millenium is much smaller, saying that the team's presence on the site is entirely irrelevant doesn't seem right.

At least Nestea lol. He's never droppped down to Code B before, unlike MC.

but nestea has bombed out of some foreign events, mc does well in those consistently, gsl isnt everything

agree. the only one that can rival MC's consistency is MVP imo. but it's hard to compare the two because MC has been to many more foreign events.

MVP was never in Code B. He did get dropped to Code A but played his way back as finalist of Code A (where Bomber beat him)

MC also goes to alot more though, and i agree he's got to be on of the most consistant but even he drops out early from time to time, he just goes EVERYWHERE while others do not.
Something like who is the most consistant is hard to say, you'd have to calculate it.

If you call what Taeja used cheesy, what do you call all of ForGG's builds?

Problem was everyone was calling ForGG cheesy before the games... But when Taeja does it, it is 'brilliant read'. Taeja did some risky strats and they paid off. But some of us would like to be a bit more less bias.

TaeJa just explained his reasoning behind going for that strat; ForGG has gone for the same mech build for so many of his games, he took account for it and crushed him

~Worded something like that

That should have been obvious to anyone actually watching. It wasn't like it was a blind choice or anything either, Taeja scouted that ForGG went straight into mech off almost no marines with his initial banshee/hellion attack (his hellions in base confirmed ForGG's production)

Exacly why I was against Team Liquid owning a team in the first place.
It sounded like FIFA owning a soccer team in a sense.

Yea. MVP was in code A. That was a typo.

But you guys need to stop saying 'only being in code s' makes you at the top. Stop forgetting that numerous code s mainstays were re-invited due to seeding.

I am become death, for I am the destroyer of worlds.....You will be missed KT Violet!!!

Taeja talked a little bullshit at the interview.
- "ForGG always played the same, so i counter it"

Wait a sec, if forGG did some turrets or a thor, or simply scan that build = win. So plz, a tip: it's pretty bad when a player wins and go to interview talking crap like he is the last cookie.
He did a cheese and got LUCKY that forGG didn't waste a scan to win the game.

Because fans are usually bias (myself included). When their player gets beat by cheese, they will make negative comments vs that player. But when their player does it, they are brilliant for 'mixing it up', 'reading the opponent well'.
