Moon's the favourite over SortOf, but not overwhelmingly so. All we've seen of Moon's ZvZ this weekend was the series vs Idra and while he played well, I'm not convinced he'll mop the floor with SortOf. Either of them have a chance to beat Mana, but both will be big underdogs vs MC. SortOf beating Hero is promising, but MC plays an entirely different style than Hero PvZ and won't let SortOf get comfortable in lategame. Taeja vs Hero... Bleh. Hero seems very shaky this tournament. His play's been occasionally brilliant, but he made things unecessarily hard for himself going to even bigger extremes than usual with his PvZ. His PvT too looked much less precise than usual, with a lot of bad engagements and questionable decisions. It's a mark of how much I expect from Taeja that his play too has seemed more sloppy than usual. While he hasn't lost a series yet, the series vs Idra was much closer than the reuslt indicates, he was in trouble once or twice vs Harstem (although I think that might've been from showing off lol) and only barely managed to edge out Mana. Still, in equal positions his play looked quite a bit better than Mana's and with how Hero's been playing I'd expect Taeja to take the win comfortably. TheSTC vs forgg who knows. Both really good Terrans, both have been out of the spotlight for a bit, both have played well here so far. TheSTC has always had great TvT so I wouldn't be surprised if he manages to edge out forgg. Predictions: MC 3-2 Mana Moon 3-1 SortOf Taeja 3-0 Hero TheSTC 3-2 fOrGG MC 3-0 Moon Taeja 3-2 TheSTC MC 4-2 Taeja Really rooting for Taeja though and I don't think anyone can stop him if he turns up today with the sort of play he's shown online over the past 4 weeks. | ||
