His stoned-face? Curious' personality and character derives from his lack of emotion and apathy. He is the counter-weight to the MCs and Firebatheros out there. He's kind of like a Korean Haypro.
By the way, Kespa got killed today. The KeSPA players know their place, and their efforts today are heartening as they are definitely improving despite the split-game situation. The future looks bright for them.
Well, let's see how day 2 turns out. But in the end, it is all about results, and today was not a good day for Kespa players in terms of results, especially in such a cut-throat prelim format where even one of the group finalists goes home empty-handed.

Considering the split practise and the lack of time they've been playing the game I'd say the results were very impressive, Flash can already defeat and take games off of Code A/S players.
I assume there's still hope that Flash can make it to the South Korean nationals via the 6 Kespa invite slots?

Flash, Soulkey, Stats, they have all been stopp by really good matchup players. It was a good performance by kespa players.

They did get results. They didn't just make games close, they took games and series which are results. 3 finals is not bad.

My bad, was thinking TheBest like the commentators were saying. Even more impressive in that case

I'm really surprised people feel this way.
There was no expectation for the Kespa players to be beating GSL players by the time they meet in the first SC2 OSL, let alone a month or so earlier here. For the most part I think they're showing that they are closing the gap rapidly and that signs are positive that they'll get on level terms in the next few months.

Courtesy of TIG 5 of the 6 invites are confirmed: Rain (By.Sun), EffOrt, herO[jOin], Jaedong and RorO (Apparently it's 30 points for a normal win and 45 points for an Ace match win, hence Jaedong sneaks through). Soulkey and Trap are currently level on every metric and so KeSPA will announce which of the two gets the last seed by the end of tomorrow

OSL will be slightly different because you will get the 'top' GSL players (I guess San is not a ' tip top' player but he did get through a tough group). We have to remember the Top 10 GSL seeds weren't here and others chose MLG.

I think your expectations are just too high if you don't think 3 players reaching the finals is good in terms of results. The Kespa players are constantly saying in interviews that they feel like they're lacking a lot compared to GSL players. I expected maybe 1 to reach the finals.

So jaedong won't play tomorrow?

Also, I'm happy that two StarTale players qualified today. 4 total including Squirtle and PartinG who qualified via GSL Points

i think he does , but if he makes it then the next person gets the seed?

When it comes to Kespa players results, a good way to think about how well they did is to imagine a situation where the GSL players had played only a few months and the Kespa players for a much longer time. Do you think the GSL players would have done anywhere near this good? I sure as hell don't.

2 prime players got through. Nice. Grats creator and b4

Eh, are you sure Effort, Sun and hero[join] are all seeded? I thought they said they'll be waiting till the end of Round 2 to decide?
I mean it's unlikely that they'll not be seeded, given they're pretty much confirmed to be Top 6, but was it actually mentioned that they're already confirmed to be seed?

Maybe you put it best. I do have high hopes for these Kespa guys, maybe too high.
