Hopefully he does better then he did at NASL last week. I dont think its fair to Puma. He had to play MC who is on a huge terror l8tly. No shame losing to MC. He did qualify to the final and thats an achievement in itself He didn't just lose though. MC made him look silly MC can do that to most people though. Only Stephano and Nerchio have reversed that recently, but look what happened to DRG. It was kinda different though. There just seemed to be a huge difference on how MC's opponents performed on those games. Against DRG, MC played amazing, while DRG seemed off his game. Meanwhile, PuMa seemed to be playing up to his standards, but MC completely rolled him and looked stellar, god the builds in those games where just so damn sweet. MC's been playing amazing recently. The maps he got vs Stephano made it very difficult for him to win NASL. Maps were fine. He rolled Ret and Puma convincingly and his maps were harder against Ret then against Stephano. Stephano was just ruthless and punished every mistake. He beat Ret because he always rapes Ret. They could play a best 11 on purely Dual Sight and the old Belshir Beach and he'd still beat Ret. MC beats Ret because Ret has terrible, terrible micro and plays super predictable. NASL map pool was a joke (as stated by Idra, Incontrol, Waxangel and MC himself). Three of the seven maps had third bases which were extremely difficult to hold. On legit balanced maps MC went 2-2 vs Stephano. Idra said that Stephano deserved to win that series. Strange how you fail to use that quote. Winning a ZvP on Shakuras, Dual Sight and Belshir is like winning a PvT on Calm Before the Storm or a TvZ on Shattered Temple. It still counts and it's not a total free win but it's extremely favoured for one race and teaches you nothing of who is the better player.
Dual Sight was not used. So not sure how that is even mentioned. No one is talking about who is the better player based on one series.
The reality is that Stephano has closed the gap over their last 4 series, they have won 2 each and the map score is 11-10 in Stephano's favour. And none of those games were on Dual Sight.

I'm not saying Stephano isn't really good or saying he didn't deserve to win NASL. I think in that matchup Stephano and MC are about even.
But with that map pool MC didn't even have a chance.

Silly how we can only see half of the games that go on during a premier tournament, really wanted to see Sasquatch vs Alicia. How are we supposed to build this scene when we never watch or see the up and coming players?

Shits rigged yo Well Grubby has a shitload of fans, it's not that strange. You could vote as many times as you want on the poll, at 8am Stephano vs QxC was far ahead, 2 hours later, Grubby vs Tefel had 45% of the votes when Stephano against QxC had 12%. so? whats your point? ..? isn't it obvious ?
An infinite amount of votes can be done by a single entity Many votes had already been tallied by this morning, then a massive surge... Seems like a bot.
Should be obvious.

Go back and watch the VODS and you can see the mistakes that MC made that caused him to lose on Bel'Shir and Shakuras. Just blaming it on the maps fails to actually analyse the events in the games.

This man has a very valid point. Whatever happened to creating storylines for new players? I'm tired of hearing about the same old shit about the same old players.

What's to debate? Stephano was unable to even win a map against MC last year. In the past few months he has won 11 out of 21. Unless you think MC has declined, the conclusion is that Stephano has improved against MC. You think this is a stretch of logic on my part? I am just allowing the results to speak for themselves.

Because on both maps he was forced to do builds Stephano is good against because the maps don't suit the build he wanted to do and did on every other map.

Dang Sheth vs Ryung is the best match today and it's premium....

This is why I dislike it when Stephano does well, his fans just infect every thread with discussions on how he's the greatest player in the world.
He's an awesome player but this makes threads so annoying.

who cares about the up and comming players. I don't care about you till you've already proved yourself. IE got on a respectable team, TL, EG, Slayers, ST, IM, etc

He's an awesome player but this makes threads so annoying. I think in this case it was more about jumping to his 'defense'. You can bait the haters and you can bait the fans and the reactions are pretty similar - you might as well say that this was a thread infected with a discussion about MC..
