there have been harder roads for sure any idea of who? sorry my history is weak. i know all the champs just can't remember any incredible runs aside from face rolls (NesTea, Squirtle) i think mvp had a harder one polt, mc, nestea, huk, july, top MC won the official group of death convincingly. so did mvp during his run mvp > mc mvp > polt both recently champions. mc won a pvp and against a derping mkp The main allegations against PvP are that it is a luck-based matchup. MC won that series with a 2gate robo hold against an UNSCOUTED 4gate, with the 2gate and Robo unpowered. Dismissing it as a PvP is retarded. robo builds hold 4gate unscouted with any amount of micro, unless they started with a pylon in your base Squirtle got a pylon in MC's base. I said start with pylon in base. As in, you have 2 warp-ins inside their base killing your production and probes already. OK, this is really something. You think that for a 4gate to work against a Robo build, there has to be an unscouted pylon INSIDE the main and 2 warp-ins, otherwise it's an auto-win for the Robo player? I said it doesn't matter any more, but this is hilarious. It's sad that there are people out there who have never microd a game in their lives.

Coda A Protoss sacrifices has accomplished their goal of pleasing the Code S gods....
PvP MU is the most micro intensive of all mirror matchups..(early ZvZ is even more micro intensive but more ZvZs go into mid-late games) and I love these micro battles..
I am predicting MC 4-2 or 4-1 since Seed doesnt have a player of MC caliber to practice against in LG-IM team.. MC is just MC.. he doesnt need a partner to practice...
People saying Stephano is the best zerg in the world are wrong.. He has the best ZvP in the world no doubt but overall he cant match players like DRG or Symbol.. He maybe in top 5. DRG is still #1 even after this loss because class is permenant, form is temporary.

Ro16 and Ro32 were best of 1 back then. true, but bo1 also means that it's easier to get knocked out by just one mistake. the bo3 is less punishing i feel since you can drop one map but come back ...and then he roflstomps the -supposed to be- best player in the world with 3:0. Arguing seems a bit silly. drg derped hard today, most people agree there. against an in-form drg it might be different I state MCs play as almost flawless. No need to count off any victories.

Gratz to MC! Here is to hoping the finals will be game after game of nail-biting micro wars!

I'm worried less people will show up at Haeundae than the semi finals. That would be terrible.

However in the case of MVP specifically, he stated himself he much prefers the bo1 format, he obviously feels comfortable under the pressure and with his skill it'd definitely be scary to vs him in one. MVP said he prefers bo1 because it requires less stamina which is currently a serious issue for him with his massive exploding wrist issues >_< These weren't nearly as big a problem in the middle of last year...
Ah my bad, keep forgetting about his injury. Yeah that makes a bit more sense lol.. I tried finding where I read it to confirm but didn't have any luck.

Just casually mentioning that HerO held not one, but two unscouted 4gates in one day while going two gate blink. With blink not even halfway done. So basically 2gate > 4gate. If you're HerO. TSL Inori had the sickest PvP anti-4gate build before the patch. It was either against HerO or HuK on Tal'darim Altar (where if you don't 4gate you just flat out die) where he opened with this cool 3gate sentry with all chrono spent on gates and not warpgates. Eventually got out an immortal with ten more probes than his opponent after a few minutes of agression, and basically a-moved to victory.

Well wow, did not expect a complete stomping of DRG by MC. Didn't watch the games myself but am I wrong to assume that DRG fucked up considerably in the 3 sets?

Yeah, no matter how much zergs complain about GomTvT era, Protosses deserves more a champion. It is P their own fault that they didn't produce a champion in 2012. Season 1 you had 4P in the Ro8 with Genius in the finals. We had 1 zerg in the Ro8 and he became champion. Season 2 you had 5P in the Ro8 and for some reason MVP took the title. This season you got 2P in the finals so I guess it will work out this time.

early 2011: Tasteless and Artosis see two rising protoss stars on IM. Artosis says... see this guy Yonghwa? He's super fucking good. Tasteless says... yea... but this guy seed. He's fucking amazing x5
Fastforward to July 2012 Seed is playing in a GSL finals Yonghwa is in Code B
by perfect infallible logic, Tasteless has actually known what he was talking about all this time and has not even gotten close to losing an iota of his passion. Tasteless #1

People must rage about balance because their favourite player did not make it to the finals!

This is pretty funny actually.
Yonghwa IS doing better than just " code b " though, second at HSC5. He just needs to get out of Code Yonghwa now.
