For once, I think it's MC playing so well that DRG just looks pretty bad. This is just a random guess, but maybe DRG is sad because he knows he played at or near his best but it just wan't enough :o

But he's insisting on doing what looks like half-heated attacks (with tech behind) that ends up simply donating units. In game one he could have gone to 90 drones and 4-5 bases but instead he built corrupters off of 65 drones and made something close to an all-in attack

You can add to that that HerO rolled over DRG in hot import nights and got 3-1 by Stephano.
This gives strengh to the #1 and #2 for PvZ of course
