![]() i think china and taiwan get far too many seeds to asian WCS though china - 10 taiwan - 9 korea - 10 singapore - 1 (30 players) imo -> taiwan 2, china 4, singapore 1, korea 23 (30 players) would be a better representation of skill =] lol

It's same reason UK has 3 spots and Germany 4 while Ukraine has 2 and Sweden has 3.didn't get to tune in but sounds good ![]() i think china and taiwan get far too many seeds to asian WCS though china - 10 taiwan - 9 korea - 10 singapore - 1 (30 players) imo -> taiwan 2, china 4, singapore 1, korea 23 (30 players) would be a better representation of skill =] lol Besides you shouldn't underestimate chinese players.

In the end that's good for SC2 in general. And hey, I'm sure a Korean will win this WCS in the end anyway.

Apparently, WCS seeds are determined based proportional to the active player base in each country. This is a great setup for growing the scene outside of areas where professional SC2 is already well-established (such as in Korea) - eventually this will mean more, better trained, foreign players, and a bigger professional scene. In the end that's good for SC2 in general. And hey, I'm sure a Korean will win this WCS in the end anyway. Upset of the year incoming! Some African guy wins it.
