Loved this tournament! So much respect for Take! Very impressed with casting of Tod, Tarson, Mana, InControl, Idra, Socke, HasuObs, Cloud and Bitterdam of course.

Congrats to Nerchio for winning this thing. It's official - after HSC V and DHS - Poles own Koreans!

See you all next time for HSC VI!

Interesting to look at the invited/qualified player split at different stages of the tournament:
Ro32: 27 invited, 5 qualified
Ro16: 11 invited, 5 qualified
Ro8: 3 invited, 5 qualified
Ro4: 1 invited, 3 qualified
Ro2: 0 invited, 2 qualified
Maybe the balance of invited/qualified should be rethought for HSCVI? As it is, the qualified players just rolled.

Great event, even tho I missed nearly half of it because of the immense lag on different resolutions (seemed only 720+ worked fine which I can't afford to open with lots of ppl home). Fix that for the next one please.

Man Geoff's commentating was really good, the jokes he made were perfect and he really does well with the other casters like rotti and mister bitter, though he does sometimes drown out quieter people like Bly.

If you think it's too hard there are solutions other than asking for a nerf, getting better is the first that comes to mind.

Just wanted to drop in and say thanks for an awesome event. The production value this time was even better than last time and everything was just very entertaining!

Can't wait for the next HSC and if circumstances allow it, I'll be taking time off to come to Krefeld
I has a flavor

Nah... Take loves to invite certain players... perhaps not to top ones but some that know how to party. I think there will be less koreans in the next HSC. He was very unhappy with the NA Qualifiers

HSC is mostly for a group of gamers (friends) having fun in a tournament, not the gsl where you will see the best games.
obv the level of play is still high.
i love to see these games > korean vs korean finals by faaaaaaaaaaaaaar.
too bad that there have been no terrans which would have made this HSC perfect.

Btw, just realised Poland winning Volleyball World League, Radwanska 2nd place Wimbledon, my idol and role model Federer winning in London as well, now Nerchio 1st at HSC, couldn't be a better sports weekend.

I almost forgot. This will go down in this thread, but i want to thank Idra espacially, for showing awesome games, and for beeing and awesome caster. This HSC i became a big fan of "casting Idra" or "professional Idra" whatever you want to call it. Dude you are awesome, keep it up!

But then look how much fun the invited players brought to you and how much the qualified did. I think its pretty obvious which ones did bring more !

Good show Take. The winner should really get an interview in HSC VI though. And don't invite bling again, get an actual good sc2 player.

Bling is a must @HSC

He knows how to party after getting out.

... good for him?

Lol.. you got to be a boring fucker to not enjoy Bling's drunken antics at HSC. Plus he's better than quite a few of the other invites there, more than good enough to be amongst them.

And what are you if you enjoy looking at a drunk guy? Go out and you will see hundreds of them.

Why do you hate him so much?
