Maybe the balance of invited/qualified should be rethought for HSCVI? As it is, the qualified players just rolled.

The invited players just went there to play poker and get wasted.

Great event as always. Highlights for me was Naama vs Ret g2 with the nukefest, i mean holy balls what a game. Actually almost every top5 game had Naama in it. When it comes to casting, Tarson is the man. Next hsc bring in Tarson even if he isnt playing anymore, that guy is pure gold.

Still i somehow feel that hsc4 was better, but i can't even think why right now (well it was the best fucking thing ever sc2-related, so hard to top it). Maybe in couple of days it will become clear. Thank you Take, you are the man. I can't wait for december. <3

Highlights were certainly the casting and recap videos.

Poor quality games unfortunately

Still, awesome tournament. One of a kind.

I think it's awesome the invited players did the show and the qualified players showed us some great starcraft

(sry for the generalization, but you should get my point)

approve
more qualifiers, less invites would be great obviously

that's true for every other event, but not for hsc imo
Maru and Serral are probably top 5.

Nerchio showing us Stephano's not the top foreigner zerg.

Dont start that shit again.

Just enjoy Nerchio's victory.

Lol Stephano didn't even play this tournament, but if he had i'm sure he would have won it. Nerchio gets his first big offline tournament win and he is now magically THE top foreign zerg. LOL for days.

Loved this tournament! So much respect for Take! Very impressed with casting of Tod, Tarson, Mana, InControl, Idra, Socke, HasuObs, Cloud and Bitterdam of course.

You forgot Happy. Him casting with Dimaga I think was my personal highlight. But really awesome all around event.

Homestorycup is definately the best and most entertaining tournament to watch!

I just wanna thank everyone and anyone who was involved, crew, casters, players and mostly Dennis!!! Can't wait until HSC 6

Well said and congrats Nerchio for breakout performance.

Technically its Nerchio's 2nd HSC. In the last one he was butchered by MC.

I know what's your point? Maybe you're confused what breakout performance means? It means where you kick ass ppl start recognizing you as a top player. This HSC is the one for Nerchio.

Thats actualy really nice point! Shows that torunament shouldnt be 100% invite only. Qualifiers are good for the tournament. TSL 3 was the same and HSC V is proving the point valid.

Maybe just a bit. For example - guys like ToD or iNcontroL would have no chance to qualify but their efforts results in how awesome this tournament is. And you can't blame TaKe for inviting few of his fellow countryman.

Good show Take. The winner should really get an interview in HSC VI though. And don't invite bling again, get an actual good sc2 player.

Bling is a must @HSC

He knows how to party after getting out.

Lol.. you got to be a boring fucker to not enjoy Bling's drunken antics at HSC. Plus he's better than quite a few of the other invites there, more than good enough to be amongst them.

And what are you if you enjoy looking at a drunk guy? Go out and you will see hundreds of them.

You feel that thing stuck up your bum? You should take it out man, it is starting to affect your mood, not healthy!

Anyway, great tournament! And Bling made me smile . Congrats to Nerchio, and of course thanks to everyone @HSC for giving us a great weekend!
