I"m quite mad with everything about Homestory Cup.

I had to prepare an important presentation for Monday (aka tomorrow), and I'm just starting now at 11:30 PM. The torunament was so f* amazing that I put everything aside and watched the entire of it.

Thank you for ruining my presetation.
Nothing of the homeland remains, but ash and sorrow..

Lol.. you got to be a boring fucker to not enjoy Bling's drunken antics at HSC. Plus he's better than quite a few of the other invites there, more than good enough to be amongst them.

And what are you if you enjoy looking at a drunk guy? Go out and you will see hundreds of them.

Why do you hate him so much?

Don't even know the kid, so no hate. Just don't enjoy some drunk monkey attention whoring, when there are a lot more interesting and better players around.

Anyway let's focus on the man of the hour Nerchio.
I thought people said he was a bm guy, but he looked really cheerful and friendly.

Ro2: 0 invited, 2 qualified
Maybe the balance of invited/qualified should be rethought for HSCVI? As it is, the qualified players just rolled.

you need a good amount of extroverted people from who you are sure that they bring the HSC spirit, such as tod, incontrol, hasu, cloud, moman, bling to mention some.

gg wp take once again. hope this hsc was more rentable ^_^

I think it's awesome the invited players did the show and the qualified players showed us some great starcraft

(sry for the generalization, but you should get my point)

Nah... Take loves to invite certain players... perhaps not to top ones but some that know how to party. I think there will be less koreans in the next HSC. He was very unhappy with the NA Qualifiers

HSC is mostly for a group of gamers (friends) having fun in a tournament, not the gsl where you will see the best games.
obv the level of play is still high.
i love to see these games > korean vs korean finals by faaaaaaaaaaaaaar.
too bad that there have been no terrans which would have made this HSC perfect.

But then look how much fun the invited players brought to you and how much the qualified did. I think its pretty obvious which ones did bring more !

So I agree with this general sentiment - I wouldn't want a qualifier-only HSCVI, which would ruin the atmosphere. 27/5 just seems a bit too skewed in favour of invited players. Even something like 20/12 would still allow for lots of antics/great player casting while simultaneously upping the level of gameplay, especially from the Ro8 onwards (when most of the invited players would be knocked out and indulging in said antics while the qualified players get down to the business of showing good games!)

more qualifiers, less invites would be great obviously

that's true for every other event, but not for hsc imo

This. HSC is more than just another tournament.
I might be the minority on TL, but TL is the minority everywhere else.

I disagree. For every other tournament qualifiers re great, but HSC is more about the player's personalities and less about the actual games. So a mix of invites and qualifiers fits this tourney much better imo.

He was fine, he even streamed a bit of ladder play on the second stream.

Dont start that shit again.

Just enjoy Nerchio's victory.

Lol Stephano didn't even play this tournament, but if he had i'm sure he would have won it. Nerchio gets his first big offline tournament win and he is now magically THE top foreign zerg. LOL for days.

No Stephano in HSC is more drunkphano than number 1 foreigner :p

I thought people said he was a bm guy, but he looked really cheerful and friendly.

You're the one who keeps bringing him up. He's a character, its good for the game, rather than boring players with no personality. Plus you like to keep bringing up how bad he is, "I hope a player like him has another job" etc. You should be warned/banned for player bashing really, especially when Bling is as good as (ie. is capable of beating) or better than half the players at HSC.
