Well in BW, Proleague is usually considered as more prestigious than any of the individual leagues. Maybe they're trying to set the same precedent in SC2? | ||

It has to do with the way they've scheduled things. GSTL takes longer because there's only two matches every week, and because Code A players are now dependent on Code S, they just go ahead and play all of Code S first, then have the tournament in a timely manner. I agree it feels a bit weird that the individual league finals isn't the big capstone event for each season, but eh, it's their schedule. | ||
