It's kind of a catch-22, you don't want to play a straight-up macro game vs. Ret (as I think Idra mentioned on stream) but at the same time Ret is usually pretty map-aware so likely to be in a position to take advantage of greedy play. I think Ret tends to be weaker against styles like MC, who is so good at hiding his intentions and abusing the fuck out of a situation. In ZvP, Ret has very few weaknesses, but one of those was his late game positioning and decision making. Playing straight-up macro games vs. Ret was okay previously when you're able to stall his attacks long enough to get to the late game, at which time you're able to beat him with a decent vortex and an archon colossi blink stalker HT with storm composition. But Ret knows his weakness and these days I think he's a lot better at killing the opponent with fast brood lord tech and microing his late game units. Hard to say what to do against him now. Two base all-ins ala Mana?

I was just comparing the two, which is a plus, because imo inca has S-class pvp and pvt Would not consider his PvP Code S level anymore. PvT...eh. He only played like two series of that matchup before he was knocked out by Lure.

Well, since EG's CEO wants to get good exposure for their sponsors, Incontrol and Idra do a very reasonable job doing that. Incontrol did "ok" last year and all of EG has been getting pretty worked over for the first part of this year. He has done better in the past two years than a number of members of TL. The Red Sox, a much larger professional team, have a pitcher who has lost them 11 games in a row. Every time they put him out, he gives up 5 runs in a single inning. They still have him, because he could be amazing if he can get it together.
