Wasn't Huk in Code S for most of 2011?? That might be more impressive. Huk was in Code S during the time when Protoss just didn't win at all in GSL.

more importantly huk earned his spot, didn't receive a silly seed.

May I remind you that naniwa earned his spot as well? Remember how he finished Top 8 last season?

And how did he earn his spot last season ? Remind me. And should I mention how he got top8 by beating weak opponents and not getting any pvz ? MOAR LUCK please

and which foreigner has "earned" (lol) a spot since november? remind me. and should i mention that naniwa earned his seed for this season, which is all that matters? moar love, less hate, please.

took you a long time to find an argument. huk qualified for up and down and qualified for code s by beating mma while naniwa earned his spot DIRECTLY into code s. Is it so difficult to understand ? Also he did earn his spot for THIS season but he beat 2 protoss (his best is pvp) and he beat 2 mediocre TvP players (ryung, virus). I'm waiting for the day he crosses the path of a zerg. He'll finally learn his place (probably in code b)

Is this one of those "Stephano is the best, therefore Naniwa sucks" things, or do you have an actual reason for all this hate? I mean, Naniwa is a douche, or at the very least extremely awkward socially, but he cares about the game a lot, and practices more than is probably healthy for him. I like to watch him succeed, because it proves that hard work and dedication mean something in SC2, and it provides incentive for other foreigners to step up their game. Same reason I like it when HuK succeeds.

nothing against naniwa, just fed up with people finding him excuses for naniwa when he gets cheesed and saying "oh this guy can't beat nani in normal games".

I'm pretty sure you do have something against naniwa considering all your posts in this thread shitting on him.

Pretty sure a lot of people dislike NaNiwa for the same reason IdrA has 100000 haters. They are both arrogant as all hell with huge egos and little respect for other players/community members. And at least IdrA shows respect to the majority of Korean players.

huk dropped out, bro. naniwa got a direct seed for being a baller, and proceeded to prove he deserved it by winning.

seriously though, hate less, love more.

he will drop out, very soon

Really, how can you argue Naniwa is not Code S/Code A level (those are pretty close)? Personally I don't like him as a person too much either, but there's no denying his skill.

Is it because his PvZ is not up to par with his other matchups? As far as I recall, every player has bad matchups. Take for example your (and mine) favorite P player, MC. Sure, his PvZ is a thing of legend but can you sincerely say the same about his PvT and PvP. His PvT is great early game in that his all-in defense and all-ins are very good, but as the game goes one he gets susceptible to making not the best decisions and being overly aggressive. His PvP is slightly better due to his baller micro, but you can see that he does not really always use the best builds and somehow just seems like he doesn't know what to do. Then again, everybody's PvP is pretty similar and he beat Squirtle so I guess you could argue he has good PvP.

1. Idra shows respect for Koreans? lol
2. Naniwa procudes results and that's the only thing that should matter here

That single Thor was so smart.

Byun picked off quite a few tanks on the last push though.

Keen really needs to sort out the sim city in his main xD
