Well he outplayed Naniwa really but forgot collosus range. He'd had won 4-2 if he hadn't forgotten range.

Call it an excuse if you like, but nani got really really lucky in that game

I say that as a fan of naniwa as well

If I got that right, Genious revealed naniwas cheese (can he see it in the build order, at the end of the game, did he cut probes?) by pausing the game. In that case the luck would be even.

He was also very unlucky with that re-game, so that evens things out.

How are you assuming Naniwa would of won that first unplayed game without it even being played out?

Yet more evidence towards the case of Colossus being unbelievably retarded.

WP Nani however, his hard work is paying off!

Dat 5 hour long day. So happy for naniwa. Also genius has won pvps before where he forgot range...

Either way the flaming will continue, I wonder if people would just be happy/hype naniwa more positively if there wouldn't be all the controversy around him. Ah well for me he is the best foreigner in the world atm until stephano goes to korea and does equally well in gsl.

I thought that Nani simply had more archons there... would've probably gone in his favour either way imho.

No. Naniwa would have lost that fight if genius had range stupid way to lose

but good for nani!

NaNiwa still had more Archons, I believe. Would've been a closer fight, but I don't think it would've been a guarantee win for Genius.

You must be new to the game.

9 3/2 Collosus vs 7 3/0 Collosus = rape. Micro barely matters in late game PvP collosus wars.

He forgot range, that was that.

Then you are ignorant, micro is everything in lategame PvP, it's all about the guy that can force the better engagement. I agree that it didn't matter when you don't have range, but you can easily win a fight in PvP even if you are behind on ups if you have good micro. Doing simple stuff like pulling an immortal foward change the entire fight.

2 Collosi vs 5+ Archons. NaNiwa was down on Collosi because he was investing his gas into something else (in this case Archons). Just because you have more Collosi, doesn't mean you win the fight.

2x round 8 gsl. People still call it luck. Haters logic is unbelievable.

This, pretty much.

Wasn't NaNiWa 3/1 at that point?

Naniwa's +1 armour would have finished after Geniuses +3 armour. So if he was then Genius was 3/3. But I'm pretty sure Naniwa was 3/0 and Genius 3/2.
