The best is guy with as much money as 5 Protoss behind him combined, and showed it again last night. Watch him play vs Zergs with 20 differnt builds from air play to 2 base all in he invented.
You can't win them all but he has won a lot more than any other by a huge margin so by default MC is best.

yeah especially how his commited 2 base pressure ended up in him losing all units focussing a hatch that doesnt die, he really deserved to win after that

Sad MKP went out like that. Was hoping he could beat MC then Squirtle and MC come from behind and they go through togehter. He has a good shot as long as no zergs he has to play but he played like shit vs MC.

If that is how he and you felt then it would be more appropriate for him to write a recap that isn't filled with anger, more objective sort of recaps that's what I mean.

Not saying he's not good. Far from underrated? Yes. Read this thread or any thread that mentions top Zergs/Symbol and you'll find enough posts calling him the best player in the world despite not winning anything.

The idea of saying Symbol is overrated isn't to take away his achievement or to discredit his undoubtedly amazing play right now, but more that Symbol's hype is seriously earth-shattering. He's playing very well but the hype behind him is just so ridiculous that it's hard for anybody to live up to it. Maybe a bad example but take FF7, it's a great game but some of the hype is just so huge and it's just so famous that it can't help but be overrated. Same idea with Symbol, he's playing very well for sure but a lot of people speak as if he is the second coming and it's hard not to be overrated based on what some people are saying about it.
However lots of others don't really think that he's that good or buy into the hype as much so I'd just say that he is playing extremly well and is looking very dangerous. Overratings are hard to indicate definitively because each person rates players differently and it's rare that EVERYBODY feels a certain way about a player.

That what happens when you reverse-all kill against IM, playing final in 2 major tournaments, also being in round of 8 after two group of deaths.

This is why I love Starcraft 2. Some strategy seems so overpowered for awhile and then it takes a bit to figure out the counter. Over and over and over. People can't just rely on the exact same builds everytime because a weakness or counter will be found.
Ya took zergs this long to figure out to just get overlord drops.
I have a feeling this over lord drop thing is gonna be the next "op" thing though, or well dropping in the main and attacking the third will be pretty hard to deal with.

Still not enough to call him the best Zerg/best player. There are players that have performed far better, there's even a zerg at the moment performing better(DRG)
