Please cast your eyes towards August 2011 to December 2011: http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/Mvp_(player)/Results Basically at this time MVP either won or it was an upset. MMA and Leenock were really the only people that were able to beat him in this period twice.

Yup. Everyone was idiotic to not at least compete at all for Taeja imo, but I guess hindsight is 20/20.

You just realize of those mistakes because Taeja capitalizes on them so well and plays really solid. Well to be fair Taeja's opponents dont even really know when its safe to move out. Cause if you do Taeja will have like 3 drops to harass 3 bases while being able to win a straight up fight when they engage. It's honestly really scary how good Taeja's play is. Especially when your able to have your opponents hesitate and never know when its safe to move out and not get dropped or harassed.

My only guess was that ganzi had much better GSL results and foreign results and since he left at the same time the teams jumped onto ganzi instead of taeja.

Seriously Taeja forces mistakes but good bit of them today are just made of IM initiative. And it seems Yonghwa was supposed to be the sniper. I don't get why would you want to use protoss tho.

I feel like if Taeja could beat DRG in a bo7, then he could "secure" a claim to best player in the world. Keep in mind I'm a DRG fanboy and will still probably believe he's the best player in the world.
