It doesn't make sense to send out your second best player (hero) to play the most volatile matchup in sc2 (pvp) and risk to lose him that way. (That's my interpretation of what nazgul said about why he doesn't want to send out hero against protoss).

All i said is how can you call the entire TL team is better than team IM when it is just Taeja vs IM. All you did was repeat what i said. Because Taeja has the best mechanics out of anyone in SC2 and TL is the best team because they helped Taeja prepare to snipe each LG-IM player. Taeja would still be a typical Terran if he was still in SlayerS because SlayerS Terrans are notoriously bad at TvP. Here in TL, he had LiquidHero to practice against. In SlayerS, Puzzle and Alicia aren't that good versus Terran so he didn't realize his potential yet.

It wasn't that long ago that MKP was tearing it up like Taeja is currently, for me that was quite similar in that he was placing strongly pretty much everywhere. MVP as his peak imo showed more dominance in his games, but didn't play as many tournaments as he probably could have (or in comparison to someone like MC). Nestea has shown the strongest prepared GSL play yet, but I've never been that impressed with him in other tournaments, especially when he plays in foreign LANs he loses that edge he gains from pre-preparing. There isn't really a 'best' player until you define what you view as the most important attributes to value imo

If you'd ever watched him when he made his debut in the ESV Weekly, then you'd know that.

You are so wrong, Liquid just got lucky by picking Taeja up during his up-tick, before foreigners had noticed him.
