Not sure if this is the right forum, but I've been looking for a way to do my small part to "help e-Sports" and now I finally can!
I live in downtown SF (15th St & Castro St - a mile or two from the convention center). If lodging is a problem for any of the competitors, I'd be happy to offer up my place. I have a huge condo w/ big living room couches to crash, plentiful internet, and a non-rowdy non-fanboy nature (plenty of rest before your games, no "omg can you set my voicemail message?!?" BS). I'll likely be going to the event, so I could potentially help w/ cab cost if that's an issue as well. There's nothing I hate more than people not competing due to financing issues.
tl;dr: Competitors/casters/etc: If lodging/finance is an issue, I have a place you could stay for free. If this is helpful, PM me. If not, I apologize & please ignore GL HF to all competitors & spectators!

I'm really happy that IPL is finally hosting an event in SF, but it really sucks that it's just one match. It'd be nice if you had a more detailed schedule as well since I'm not interested in watching League of Legends but I'd love to watch the TAC3 Finals. It almost seems like it might be better just to sell two separate tickets since SC2 isn't going to take up that much time, and the bigger LoL audience might get most of the tickets!
edit: oh whoops I see in the topic it does say that the SC2 finals is just Saturday morning

Hard to plan a trip around a one day thing. However this should still be incredible. Jealous of the folks that live near by.

Consider me there, finally an event in the Bay Area

Awesome, as a NorCal (Sacramento area) dude its been sad that no big tournaments have been up here yet, even more with IGN in SF. So going to this, if only just for the SC2

finally a big tournament here in SF!!!!!! going

Awesome, would be amazing to see a team like NSH make it, as they havnt really been able to go outside of korea that much, i bet it gives them a lot of motivation to really put an effort into this tournament, and gives me more of a reason to cheer for them in tonights match!

So sick. I'm glad I'm in the bay all summer, definitely attending.

LOL I was going to be leaving for home from San Francisco on the tenth. It looks like I'll be extending my stay by a few days.
