That's actually an incredibly good point. Would be nice to see if somebody would ask him about the pick in an interview.

Yeah 396 - 401 (zerg being 396, toss being 401) looks extremely zerg favored.
36-38 (z 36, P 38 on korea stats).

Yeah let's take stats from the beginning of time and use them to prove a point on the current meta.
You got it.

That's not true.
If you are leading 3-1 you might decide to do a cheese build that you would never do if the game was tied 3-3.

So you'd rather play an ace match on a map that is notoriously good for ZvP mutaling than like, ohana?

Yeah, that's not imba at all. It just takes the zerg always assuming that a warpgate will be in play on metropolis. Which is what basically everyone does.

Technically, you're right. But from a morale perspective, if you were to get down to 3-3 and had to play the last game on a tough map (argue this all you want, but PvDRG on TDA is pretty rough) I think it would be pretty disheartening.

I think hero could've anticipated the 6 pool on TDA. Pretty much every ZVP I see on TDA now is a 6 pool. I think hero could've walled off the choke and went straight for a 4 gate to win the game.

My bad, going from march 1st (2012) to today its 65 - 75 (zerg 65, toss 75). My bad even more zerg favored.

Well moral perspective, it's still different. If you are up 3-1 you are confident you are going to win, if it goes from you being 3-0 to tied 3-3 you are going to be tilted, make more mistakes (well most players) and morally you are going to be crushed. So he might make mistakes he doesn't normally and lose, he will be less likely to take risks as well.

Fair enough.
Just seems that DRG has always been extremely confident on TDA, and is notorious for 6pooling into mutaling. So even if the average Z might be even vs P on TDA, the strong mutaling players are often favored on the map. It's not even arguable, just look at the map and it's obvious why that composition is so strong.

Oh I know it's strong (drg isn't the only zerg to early pool most zergs do on the map). I know muta/ling is really strong on that map I can't remember a time (in recent times) where a zerg plays taldarim and doesn't go mutalisks just because it is incredibly powerful on the map.
