He had a long period of time with no games played right before and right after the patch hit. But he won Ironsquid by beating Symbol ( right before symbol started to be a monster tho ).
Since that, MMA don't seems to be the same.

Just watching DRG practice..... holy shitttt it's an ART.

Come on MMA~ we believe. ^^

It's times like this when I want to just switch to LoL. I hate when blizzard will nerf something because of exceptional players e.g. MVP and ghosts, MMA and his TVZ, SlayerS blue flame hellion timings.

I don't see why Illusion is getting so much hate. He is a great up and coming player, and if he keeps at it he will obviously be a great player in the future. Leagues should start doing more like this, where they highlight some young newere players who could be great in the future like Illusion. He played great vs Hero

Totally justified invitation, especially since game one vs. Hero was insanely close, and he ended up taking Hero to an ace match anyway.
I'm kind of glad that you invited him, rather than a fourth player who's already as established as DRG, MMA, and Hero. Illusion's the dark horse of the tournament, but he's not a no-name player who's incapable of holding his own. He earned it.

Indeed. Just the explanation is wonderful, shows you guys really are looking to give credit where it's due and care.
Question: Dear IPL, will there be another stream with the camera just behind DRG? I'd LOVE to watch it, no commentary nothing. Just the camera on his screen!!!!

has IPL5 been officially announced yet? isnt it supposed to be in August?

Probably the player in the in the US with the most potential atm and the more live experience he gets, the better. The US scene really is in need of a "star" player.

This is a brilliant idea for a tournament! I love imports since I'm from rural Minnesota. It hurts that EVO and HSC and IPL HIN are all jammed into one mega weekend.

holy crap is the NA scene completely dead? it's MMA v DRG and only 8k viewers!?!?!?

ohh drg got only 1 pin :<

Wow, so they really didn't play each other at all since that final ?

I think we tend to forget that a lot of the current stars in GSL like DRG, HerO, MMA, Taeja, Creator, Maru, Coca and many others were all unknown players for the longest time trying to make a name for themselves against the MCs, Nesteas, and MVPs. Showcasing new and upcoming talent like Illusion is always a good thing.
