I am always scared of Jjakji though. I think he should be the best Terran in the world but something is holding him back from that level of consistency.

San has been the key for NSHS lately. I think people overlook this guy too much, in favor of Jjajki.
On StarTale's side, sending out Squirtle this early isn't too much of a concern. Their roster is deep, and composed of many strong core players. PartinG, Bomber, Curious, July, and even NaNiWa and SaSe from the Quantic side. As long as StarTale doesn't use too many B-teamers, they should be able to win.

guys..is it possible to watch this stream free like the website suggests? I do have annual pass for GSL but not GSTL. When I try and launch free stream with GOM Player it always fails...I know it works though as I used it earlier this week for GSL.

I always have a sleep schedule similar to this, for atleast the past year I have only missed GSL Live due to being out of town for whatever reason. Since it is summer I don't have classes so my sleep schedule is a little worse than other times, but college is easy enough so I can still get away with poor sleep the rest of the year too. =P

Yeah if not Sage it was someone else of note. It was said after the GSTL once because whoever this Protoss player was did a proxy dt/warp prism build against Zerg and completely demolished the zerg's main. Afterwards that player said that he got the idea from White-Ra.
Remember that Sculp was the practice partner for Genius and...I forget who else but is often mentioned as a practice partner for top Code S players. I'm not surprised at all

If you get the player to show up but it only shows the orange screen, just hit Play and it'll load the stream.

It never stops baffling me how people still can think this. No wins in a big tournament (IPL, MLG, GSL) for months while DRG wins GSL and MLGs. Stephano isn't even in my top 3 zergs, maybe not even top 5.

Nope. Maybe MVP with how good his offrace is and like there are some stunning moves by Polt and MKP, but Squirtle is just constantly jawdropping. Maybe I haven't caught him playing well but watching Stephano's stream just made me think less of him. >_>

DRG stream is one of the best. And even though mkp is one of my favorite Terrans I would say Jjakji at his best is the truly unbeatable one.

Ummm I've seen plenty of Squirtle play. Judging by what you say, he must not play his best very often. To be the best in the world, you have to win tournaments. Squirtle hasn't won anything yet. Results matter.

If you get the player to show up but it only shows the orange screen, just hit Play and it'll load the stream.
After i hit Play it just opens the "Open File" window

He might've dropped those 2 medivacs due to knowing mutas coming or he was doing many things at the same times. Players moving all over the place and ignoring the medivac is normal. Sometimes it's not worth paying attention at the drop when there's more important stuffs that need attention.
The terrible play from KingKong masked some of the bad play from Sculp. He split well but his weird low unit count attacks should have been absolutely crushed by any decent player (+dropping a tank onto zerglings is hardly the best play in the world).

Well Curious is the strong favorite to win this game. But again Squirtle was too and he lost. Yet again he just won the TSL4 qualifiers recently and seems really solid, so I'm pretty sure he can take it.

He's playing an old school TvZ style, where from the first 2 hellions he tries to make the zerg use all his larvas non stop until the zerg doesn't have enough. The first 2 hellions killed all the initial lings (the next 4 have died for nothing tho), then the aggression starts.

a lot of the time we have very little information to go on and some of their players could be doing really well on some certain maps or are doing better then their current star line up. Need to be living inside the team house to know whats really the right decision.
This isn't really comparable to IM coach imo. I want the IM coach to just send out all their Code S players every match. In neither of the matches this season did all of IM's Code S players get sent out. Kingkong was the mistake choice in this match.

The problem is that people on the forums can see exactly what those code S players are doing wrong, whereas none of us have any idea of the current shape of the players the coach is sending out. That's why critizing their choices is, most of the time, uncalled for.
Ah thats right, makes sense that Ace is starting to look good now. I know that he didn't practice much in the past but he must have finally found his passion.
I have a bad feeling about this from a T's perspective. This is usually the point in replays when I think that "yes, I really actually just messed the whole game up and now I can clearly see it".

Good choice. I hate it when teams (IM) wait to send their aces until the last player even when they are really far ahead. If you are far ahead you should just put out your aces immediately so the other player doesn't build momentum.

Well the problem is his 3rd nexus meant his tech was really delayed; it shouldn't work if the P was on two bases. Jjakji went 2 base all in against a greedy eco play from protoss, so whatever big attack he was going to do was going to be very strong.

I like how Jjakji's TvP often involves him cutting workers much earlier than other Terrans to actually hit really strong timing windows or stronger maxes. Pays off regularly.

Bomber is not solid in TvZ, especially not in its current state.
and PartinG's PvP is not that bad really.
Bomber still is solid at TvZ, otherwise he would be under 60%. Just because he loses to Zergs like Curious, Sniper, etc. doesn't mean otherwise, or else he still wouldn't be hovering above 60% in TvZ.
And PartinG is decent at PvP, but again, Bomber would be a better choice by far for taking out Protoss opponents.

Yeah man Artosis said there is two type of Bomber: the CodeAish bomber or the invincible Bomber Lately, he has been inconsistent not like last time where he just crushes face left and right.

squirtle lost that game because he did the most idiotic thing possible, when he had the game won, fyi.
This build is no where near overpowered, it's a risky build in the first place. It punishes greedy protoss players and obviously gets crushed by ones that don't do things like Nexus before cybernetics.

Terran will continue to all-in early against Protoss because they feel they have a better chance than lategame. Squirtle actually held in Game 7 then ran out in the open and got flanked. Watch MC hold and win the exact same thing in the up-and-downs. PartinG went and got super greedy. TvP does need to be address...it shouldn't be T: end it ASAP vs P: get eco lead and lategame ASAP.

2 Rax with Proxy is not an autowin . If you scout and you don't mess up you will probably win. Most Toss lose because they move out after they held the first wave because for whatever reason they think the Terran would try to transition , which is basically impossible. Also Nexus first and 3 Nexus builds which they shouldn't be.
The thing that made that proxy rax so strong is that he caught the zealot and stalker away from the base, which basically ended the game right there. Add in another stalker, and Parting wouldn't have lost so many probes, and the game would have evolved to the midgame. As it was, Parting was basically playing 2 minutes behind jjakji. As a terran, very interesting to see that. I bet you can catch alot of tosses out in the field that way with a well placed proxy rax.

Sculp showed some amazing control and multitasking. Honestly the most impressive set of multiple microing I've seen in a long time - yeah, MarineKing has better individual control, but he doesn't micro so many different fights at once normally.
Kind of funny how much lower rated the game vs. King Kong was compared to vs. Curious. Yeah, King Kong macro'd considerably worse and generally didn't play that well, but Sculp played exceptionally there (aside from the weird drop which was bad; someone mentioned stimming Marines to kill an Overseer, but that was actually pretty good - 10 hp on 4 Marines to definitely kill it is fine). Pretty sure that's mostly because Wolftosis were saying the style doesn't work against competent Zergs the first time and then it worked against Curious and they were like "Oh. . .maybe it does!"

I don't think so really, in fact Squirtle did a build I've not seen much from him (2 base 8 gate chargelot archon storm bust). Sculp just managed to get a perfect read on it and had like 6 bunkers up. Still a close game but eventually Sculp managed to kill Squirtle's nat and held his own. They both stayed 2 base for ages.

and actually after the fight it was somewhere around 41 probes to 16 scv's but because he had 3 orbital vs 1 only squirtles main, sculp was still ahead in gathering

Do you think its fine how safe the Queen Buffs makes super greedy Zerg openers with barely if any Lings until they're on 3 Bases saturated ? You cannot punish that with how strong Queens have become anymore . I'd be fine with it if they take away Zerg pressure stuff as well but right now Zerg can pressure or play economical while any tech / pressure opening for Terran and Toss are basically dead. Tech or pressure should be an option for every race to punish greedy build not well i have to play greedy as well but while not beeing safe .
A team gets 5 wins from their Terrans and the last few pages of the LR (and probably all the middle parts) is STILL balance whine? Seriously, can people stop pretending they know and understand balance and just enjoy the game? I miss last seasons proleague threads, thats what LR threads are supposed to be. Grats to NSHoseo!

He's just that type of guy. I'm not saying he's wrong, he just enjoys the the game for the challenge, which may be the reason why he chose Zerg in the first place as it was the weakest race back when he started. If he feels that something has changed such that there is no real challenge for him anymore, he's not afraid to say so.
