That's why you should expect him.

Not even creative or interesting cheese like MMA's crazy siege tank rush he used against MVP in the October (I might be wrong about which tournament this was) finals, or that crazy barracks wall Boxer used way back in the day, just boring proxy raxes. Personally, I hope he goes the way of Hyperdub ;p Really, the only person I like in this group is Line. Zenex fighting! He cheesed his way to the finals? I can only count 3-4 games that he cheesed from MVP last season. He also beated Naniwa with standard timing push in the first game. He played 6 standard games against Squirtle too. MMA is even more cheesy than MVP and creative or not cheese is still cheese. If you win with it then it's good strat if you don't then it's embarassing. MVP won with it so it's good just like what Keen did today. His performance overall last season was far from the performance that earned him so many fans. A large amount of the population had even concluded from the way he played that he was unable to deal with his wrist and was just trying to end games quickly and without effort rather than even attempt to put on a good show. Regardless of whether this reasoning is true or not you can look at the LR threads and see how poor of a show he put on. Yeah, MMA is cheesier, but he innovates and puts on a great show. Yes, I'll be rooting for him in Code A, I'm sure as MVP fans you guys know what I'm going through ;p Yes, his performance was not the best, but hey - he still won the whole thing. Not only is it a hughe achievement, but also the best show one could possibly hope for. Eh, I had hoped for a real game 7. Whatever, he played to win, doesn't mean anyone has to like him, I'm not one of the people that does. Posts like this make make me wonder if you even play starcraft. I want you to tell me one pro, ONE pro that says game 7 wasn't a real game. You won't find any. Pros play to win, not to your damn arbitrary rules of what is a real game and what isn't. Jesus christ indeed. I'm not a pro Starcraft player, I go to school and don't have time to get good enough. Back when I still had time I was high diamond before masters existed. However I'm speaking from a spectator perspective. I know MVP is playing just to progress, whatever, that's fine. If you're just want to watch someone win, MVP is a great player to follow. I however do not enjoy his play. We prefer different players, that's how things work. Sorry I don't follow your arbitrary rules of who to like. Have a beer, relax.

Well arbitrary rules are what opinions are based on, hence disagreements. Not much you can do, so never mind arguing about it, I've made my point. People are upset not because you don't like MVP but you downplayed his success by saying something like "cheesed his way to win GSL". It's not even true. He just mixed in some cheese which is part of strategy. Maybe you didn't watch MVP vs Leenock last season? It's one of the most epic TvZ ever.
