Personally, I hope he goes the way of Hyperdub ;p

Really, the only person I like in this group is Line. Zenex fighting!

MMA fans seem a little bitter atm. You can still cheer for him in Code-A.

He cheesed his way to the finals? I can only count 3-4 games that he cheesed from MVP last season. He also beated Naniwa with standard timing push in the first game. He played 6 standard games against Squirtle too. MMA is even more cheesy than MVP and creative or not cheese is still cheese. If you win with it then it's good strat if you don't then it's embarassing. MVP won with it so it's good just like what Keen did today.

Yes because after 6 macro games, one game of cheese in a bo7 means end of the fucking world. I thought this was the only place where cheesing was actually acceptable, mixing it up in a bo7 and all. Can't get more legit than that.

!_! People are never satisfied.

It just sucks sometimes to see such a great series end in such an annoying fashion, especially since squirtle was the underdog. I would strongly guess that if Mvp hadn't won the last game, people would be saying "he cheesed and failed, Mvp is still better blah blah"

That being said, Line + Genius pls :D

Sorry, but that was the absolute best way the finals could have ended. If MVP went for a longer game then he would have died miserably, no questions asked. He took a massive gamble, looked like he was down and out for the count, and then Squirtle messed up and MVP crawled back into it. Personally it was my favourite starcraft moment of 2012.

Yea I mean either play against late game toss as a terran on Atlantis Spaceship or proxy 2rax. Any sane person would've done the same thing Mvp did with that much money on the line...

It's just not so smart to play long macro game against Protoss right now. Timing push or cheese are the best way.

MVP is the most pro and classy sc2 player there is, a lot of people I think are just jealous that their favorite players cant even stand in MVP's shadow.

Even if Line through some incredible miracle beats MVP there's no way in hell that Happy beats MVP.

Expect Line to pull a major upset here.
Zenex need their only Code S player to advance.

Genius haven't been performing that well plus him leaving MVP will probably worsen his performance.
Happy has been disappointing against Z in GSTL.

Well,MVP being MVP.Nuff said

MVP and Line to advance.
Play your best

It's really not worth arguing with these people. They ignore the fact that Mvp said himself that he planned builds to punish Naniwa's greed and that he played reactionary games vs Parting. (Or maybe they just think he's a liar.) Anyone who denies Or underplays his skill by any measure, both as a Starcraft player and a competitor in general, is tendentious and delusional.

His performance overall last season was far from the performance that earned him so many fans. A large amount of the population had even concluded from the way he played that he was unable to deal with his wrist and was just trying to end games quickly and without effort rather than even attempt to put on a good show. Regardless of whether this reasoning is true or not you can look at the LR threads and see how poor of a show he put on.

Yeah, MMA is cheesier, but he innovates and puts on a great show. Yes, I'll be rooting for him in Code A, I'm sure as MVP fans you guys know what I'm going through ;p
Life is too short to take it seriously.

Yet Mvp said himself that he is fully confident in himself in lategame TvP, and he beat PartinG somewhat straight-up, as well as the first three games so I'm sure he could have won a macro game in game seven as well.

Listen guys, At the end of the day MVP played to win. Not for you, Not for me. After a great, legendary and I'm sure an exhausting game 6 he decided to all in on a heavily protoss favored map in a heavily protoss favored meta and people are upset about this? Mvp got to where he is not because he's cheesy,(anybody who watched him since gsl 4 knows this) but because he knows what builds to pull out at the right time. Whether it be macro or not.
