This might sound weird, but extra Defensive PF's at your natural and outer expansions are really important to have if you're going to be pushing past the center.

Yeah sure MC is more accomplished, but so are players like HongUn and Inca. I'm not saying he's bad by any means but he is definitely overrated. All of those major lans and tournaments he won was by executing 2 base timings supported by mind gaming and metagaming, theres a reason he was labeled the suicide toss in BW.

I bet your the guy on the ladder who justifies 4 gating and 6 pooling every game because "winning is winning", honestly if you want to be considered the best of the best then your going to have to do more then 2 base shenanigans consistently. If you want to put MC on the same pedestal as players such as Nestea, MKP, MVP, DRG and etc then he's going to have to do more then just timing attacks.

It always baffles me that people would prefer to watch less skill and endurance over the longevity and talent we often saw in BW, thankfully a a resurgence is slowly occurring and cheeses/gimmicks are slowly being weeded out.

MC's macro games are fearsome as well. Do people really still think that a player who only 2 bases would still be relevant in the scene?

I cant deny he has a really good macro PvZ but his longevity in terms of PvP and PvT are pretty sickening given he loses almost any time he plays a standard game, a lot of his PvZ success is attributed to his amazing micro though which is one of the most important aspects against zerg imo. When you contrast him against other guys such as Genius, Parting, Squirtle, YongHwa, Seed, Oz, (the list goes on) he fails in comparison.

Watch team league games and you'll see that YongHwa has been put out as an ace in many scenarios against Code S terran such as Byun, Maru, Bomber, etc. Honestly though its my personal opinion, just because I disagree with you doesn't make me retarded, in fact a lot of big names such as Artosis and Nony agree with what I'm saying (as far as what they've said publicly).

No, his gas is low, that's what counts. He could make a couple more macro orbitals and defensive PFs but there's no way to efficiently spend his money on units as his hellion count is quite good.
