Yeah as ace just showed you need top notch control and multitask to hold 1-1-1. Not really, Ace is leagues below MMA in multitasking and micro and he still holds. Do you really think Koreans wouldnt use 1-1-1 more often if it would still work most of the times in tournaments and practice? It can still sometimes work because it has become so rare but as a Protoss you really have to screw up or be really unlucky to NOT hold a 1-1-1. MMA played it out pretty badly. Just look at Hearts 1-1-1's to see how dangerous it can be. Yeah just force toss to make third nexus, cancel then put up 3gates late and be floating600 minerals when push comes, not target fire tanks with immortals, trade stalkers for a few scvs and it can be incredibly deadly.

I really don't think they would seed him in right after he loses in the up/downs, that's just silly. Getting into Code S even though you just failed to get in because of a seed.

How about losing every Code B qualifier you've ever entered repeatedly? DRG got a seed and look at him now.

I predict 3-way tiebreak between MKP and the two protosses a lá MKP, JYP, Tester last year.

Yea but he was knocked out in 1 game, not 1 game + up and downs.
Also... he didn't really take advantage of his seed, losing both of his games in Code S.

I think B4 and MKP.
There is a very good chance B4 loses to MMA, but I think if he takes the rest of his matches or beats MMA he will still advance.
There is no way MKP isn't taking first imo and I don't think MMA will beat any protoss ever unfortunately.

MKP and Killer both look so excited to play <3

What is wolf talking about ?

God... I hope MMA gets a Code S seed if he doesn't make it out. ..Iron Squid? lol
But I have a big feeling he won't. They wouldn't let MMA lose Code S, Code A and lose Up and down and get a seed.
But who else?! There are two seeds to give.. Stephano gets a seed in AUGUST. WHO ELSE?!

The only strength of 1-1-1 has become its weakness. It is so bad by now that no Protoss is still expecting it.

But I wouldn't be surprised at all to see the seeds go to thorzain and stephano. So only time will tell...
woah spoilers bro, Star Wars hasn't aired in english yet.

Also, when Terran players go for a 1/1/1, pull ahead and fail miserably, I enjoy watching them lose. Players playing bad losing? I am alright with that. Well, really want MMA to advance, but having to earn it is fine. Actually, I'm with you on both counts... I'm especially shocked, when it is THE MOST PREDICTABLE THING. When was the last time we didn't see a 1/1/1 in TvP on Dual Sight? What could the meaning of a bunker on top of the main base ramp mean? Newsflash Killer: It means DO NOT take a 3rd.
Killer played against Heart on Entombed Valley, which IS a map where you wouldn't expect a 1/1/1. I think Killer misread the situation, and thought Heart was trying to fake an all-in and actually doing a cloakshee expand. In that case, the third would make perfect sense. It was a risky move though, and backfired massively.

Lol I would actually like to see another 1-1-1 only because it's Killer

Yes but he went on to win a qualifier with a clearly defined Code S seed award. And he actually did qualify for GSL once.
