MaNa < Machine Morrow < PuMa ThorZain < JYP EG 3-1 mouz IdrA is far from old form, So is MaNa. MorroW always dies to some cheese or by making a big blunder even though he can play perfect 99% of the time. This match is important for EG and with a 2-1 lead I think JYP will step up and play really great against ThorZain.

Idra will win easy i think (and hope), i like his play more and more even if it lacks consistency lately. No idea for the other 2 matches, can go either way, but i hope EG takes it.

Funny that you are mentioning TLPD as a reason for never hearing of bigs, when he has about 40 points more than Idra. And like someone above me said, biggs won Gamers Assembly and got second at EPS in 2012. What exactly has Idra done this year?

The points are kind of void after you compare their opponents and tournaments against each other. I don't have a single clue about those two tournaments. Those wins aren't on the same level as any of Idra's tournaments, so in my opinion you can't compare them to his showings at all. As I said, he's a fairly unheard of a player which usually means he shouldn't be the favored one.

But his 2012 record for ZvZ is 26.7%. Granted, they were against better Zergs than biGs. I think IdrA has a shot this series, but I'm not going to say that he's the favorite. Mana vs. Machine is difficult to call, but I think Mana has the advantage in this match-up. Machine isn't at the caliber of Mana but has ZvP as his best match-up, whereas Mana is a top EU pro who has PvZ as his worst match-up. Morrow > Puma. Thorzain > JYP.

I understand your position, but Idras results against foreigners were not that impressive either, at IEM he lost to players, bigs beat during his tournament wins. Idra won bigger tournaments, but that was quite a while ago. Fruitdealer won GSL as well and is not good anymore. He keeps losing in big tournaments and has now gone down to a point, where he needs smaller wins, to proof, that he is still a contender. Bigs has those wins, Idra has not.

Your argument is "Idra has lost a lot to top-tier koreans and foreigners lately, therefore he should be ranked ahead of someone who has beaten a lot of mid/top-tier foreigners lately." It doesn't take a genius to see that this line of reasoning is illogical. If you're going to favor someone in a match you should have a general idea of their skill levels; popularity will not tell you how good a player is.

Mana vs Machine is kinda one-sided biGs vs Idra is ZvZ, and I'd give the edge to bigs in ZvZ right now Thorzain vs JYP is kinda one sided for Thorzain morrow vs Puma will definitely be the closer match, can't guess the winner there. Morrow can destroy Puma but Puma can do the same to Morrow, it'll depend on how they both perform and Puma needs to win this for a chance at Ace match.

I don´t know much about Machines recent skill-level, but if ZvP is his best MU, he should have a better shot against MaNa. I mean MaNa is top-10 in international vT Elo (above MMA, MC, Nestea, Ryung [Which does not mean, he is better than them in this MU - but it does mean smth.]), while he is under 2000 vZ-Elo.
