Yeah, saw that. Was just noting that the only way to make that group more BM would be to throw Zenio in there.

Division 4 is the division of teh drama.
Cruncher 2-1 CatZ - I don't think Catz has been practicing for the last two weeks, and while Cruncher hasn't been active, he knows a few solid builds and timings; depends on how CatZ prepares, but I think Cruncher has an edge
Ret 2-1 Lowley - Lowley is by no means bad, but it's Jose de Kroon; ZvZ is volatile, but Ret's experience is going to pull through
Thorzain 2-1 Alive - hard match to call; before Thorzain 3-1'd Polt this was a no-brainer, but with Thorzain being on fire, I'm going to give it to him; you never know though, Alive is a beast in TvT
Alicia 2-1 IdrA - IdrA vs. Protoss is never a good match up; he is able to upset but hoping that he does leaves you disappointed; Alicia isn't a top Protoss these days but hell, it's IdrA

It will be interesting to see if Thorzain 3-1ing Polt was because Polt is no longer a top notch Korean or Thorzain is just really fucking good. I mean Thorzain is really fucking good no matter what happens, but if he can defeat Alive that really speaks to Thorzains current skill.

What idra isn't allowed to have well spoken and mannered fans, if he apply this to all player and not just idra, I have to agree with him completely, and i am most definitely not in the idra fan club.

Gate expand has three disadvantages - lower econ, vulnerable to roaches, and slower upgrades. As an advantage, it allows Protoss to get out a lot of units quickly and hit faster timings and pressures.

Honestly, I don't understand how they were talking about Idra being so far up. Alicia was maxed with like 5000/3000 and ~15+ gateways, meanwhile Idra's economy was never really banking very much by comparison.

Idra was maxed for almost 10 minutes and could have killed alicia anytime..... 15 broodlords and 10 infestors would have killed everything alicia had.....and then he waits until alicia has the motherhsip and loses everything. What terrible decision making.

Nope, you werent watching the game, Alicia was maxed while idra was on roach/ling max, idra puts down like 20 spines and loses like 60 supply of roach doing only 1 colo kill then he is behind with Alicia on like a 8k bank the whole game.

The casters overhype Idra way too much, ignoring one very vital thing: both players' bank. Alicia having a 9k+ resource lead near max over Idra definitely put him at a much stronger position in the late-game, and that was a big dealbreaker.
And his infestor positioning forcing a huge WTF out of all of us.

actually i watched the game where idra was maxed with 15 broodlords 10 infestors and tons of spines, Alicia was also maxed, but had no mother ship... between about 22 and 28 minutes idra could have killed him. Even the casters were asking why he was waiting, and mentioned it again in the recap

Dont think you were watching same game, alicia killed idras creep spread so idra had to slowly work his way up because he couldnt move out w/o the spines, and did NOT know that alicia didnt have a mama ship, both reasons losing him;;

the 2nd engage he should have won only, but he didnt move out moer spines when he had like 15 extra in the middle/onhisside of the map and his broods were incredibly isolated. More spine hits and it was his.

aocowns would argue idra wouldnt have left though, and his stance seems reasonable enough, probably rexpanding. Which would have been better to expand to if he was Cannoned at his thrid, the 4th in the middle or 4th on the far side of the map.

If he put his units together, there were plenty of ussless roaches at the third, he never attacked with 1 ball but with 3 small groups. His units that were out were plenty to crush those stalkers on creap.

IdrA was setting up for a flank so he split his army in two. If he had just kept it together as one big blob and attacked in the open (by the watchtower maybe) I think he could have won.

I thought he was defending his third with his army, but the issue with IdrA is that he gets out-maneuvered time and time again and doesn't pay attention to his units when he needs to.
Stephano wins by his unit control; IdrA loses by it.

I'm pretty sure it was a rally point thing and not paying attention and being thrown way off track in general. Face it, IdrA's unit control looked really bad this series.
