Its just that simple. The amount of water is not automatically determined, you can adjust it manually. Some coffee selling companies call it Americano. I would call it coffee or Caffé (http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caff%C3%A8)  It's more that I can't afford an espresso machine. All i have is one of those little old cans that you put on your stove. They make great espresso, but they don't make a lot. And keep in mind, these GSL shows last for what, 5 hours?
