Theres no way to scout or determine builds before having to react to them. Builds hit too fast and you are locked into them too long. Obviously he meant this in context of ZvT, but Z have essentially learned that practically all early T timings can be blocked with similar responses. Additional tech like roach warren/bane nest aren't too much of a cost and Z production is more explosive than T. In contrast, P is far more explosive than T. You can play super safe every game and survive to mid game, but you will manhandled when P greeds instead. The issue of course is that the greed is practically undetectable, which could be manageable except for the explosiveness of warpin when he doesn't greed. | ||

Yeah gateway timings are strong, but it doesn't help if you're opponent is asking for it aswell. | ||
