no stephano probably when he was on vacation.
anyways, who is son? i've never heard of departure or son, so i'm giving the edge here to millenium even with no stephano.
|
And to think that less than a year ago Fnatic didn't have a single zerg player lol.
But Millenium definitely got this one.
|
Son and fnatic parted ways.
Funny Zerg Lineup by fnatic, guess they knew that Stephano couldnt play. But Iam afraid thats a bit overconfident here.
Predicting
Dragon 2-1 Departure
Feast 1-2 ByuL
DieStar 0-2 Moon
Adelscott 2-1 Son
Ace
Feast 0-2 aLive

Fnatic Zergs eh?
Dragon hasn't been performing well, ByuL's been beasting, so that's 2-0 for Fnatic there... and I don't know about the other two sets, so I'll assume they split those. 3-1 Fnatic.
EDIT: ByuL, not Byun ^^ Whoops :D

I believe SEn was in fnatic at some point last year.
|
Wow..."Son"
For a second I read that as "Sen" and I was like "wtf? these matches were played before SEN left Fnatic? that was like a whole year ago!"
...glad to know it's "son" and EGMC doesn't play their matches THAT early.

What's the results so far?

Yea, OP needs to be updated. + Show Spoiler +The score seems 1-1 with 3rd match (Diestar-Moon) just starting.
DeParture > Dragon (2-0 I believe) Feast > Byul (didn't watched this one)

Regarding Feast - Byul + Show Spoiler +

iNcontrol, as a zerg, how do I stop feasts robo timing in game 1 ?
|
lol DieStar completely threw away game two... did tons of damage to Moon with a drop but left his depot wall down and lings just ran in and ravaged everything.
Moon 2-0s quite easily.

Moon 2-0s quite easily. That was a facefloor moment. He has got to be devastated, especially after the advantage he also had in g1.

That's a really good way of putting it

Moon vs Adel...
It's like a competition to see who can screw up the most.
|
Adel is SOOOOO good, always has been.
GOGO Adelscot!
|
I have no idea how Adel does it, but it looks like zergs are just clueless how to respond to him.
|
Can't say I like the gimmicky play that much, but I have to give massive respect to Adelscott for refining the 1-gate Expand so well.
|
gg adel, he won against incontrol, morrow, violet, son and moon in that competition not bad.
|
lol, I'm sorry to all the Dragon fans, but Dragon was by far the worst pro pick up in some time imo. He's a funny guy with quite the personality, but he's not good enough to play sc2 professionally. I feel like M has such a handicap by trusting him to play in all of their cw's.
Good thing Adel was able to save them with such beast play!
|
Just got back and am tuning in now... can someone update me on the match score?

No, the female pros that get picked up are usually worse.

+ Show Spoiler +Adel won the ace match for Mill vs Moon, 2-1, apparently doing the same build every game.

too much confidence in fnatics Zergs cost them the match.
at least should have put Rain as the ace, if aLive was not available.
Anyways, ggs

Good thing Adel was able to save them with such beast play! No, the female pros that get picked up are usually worse. Most of them probably get paid a lot less. And they don't get chosen to represent teams in clan wars. Nor are they treated like highly competitive players.
Dragon is essentially Destiny...possibly with less skill.

Anyone knows where's Son gone?
a bit disappointed Fnatic never use their Europeans, NightEnd seems to be on a roll on the Korean ladder and ToD surely knows how to handle his former teammates! good for Adel though, he's always confident in his PvZ

For "personal reasons", he has decided to retire from progaming

Moon 2-0s quite easily. That was a facefloor moment. He has got to be devastated, especially after the advantage he also had in g1. DieStar is known for throwing games away. He should be as good as Kas but somehow he managed never to confirm. It will maybe change after he graduates (this year normally)
On April 25 2012 13:40 phyren wrote: I have no idea how Adel does it, but it looks like zergs are just clueless how to respond to him. Adelscott has a very clean early game. He barely loses unit in the early game. After that he transitions into a 2 base timing (variations of a 5 Gate) for either a 1 gate expand or a forge expand. He always had a sub-par macro so he needs to be aggressive before taking his third in order to secure a economic advantage. Still it's a build that can be countered but it's extremely hard if the zerg takes a third base.

Good thing Adel was able to save them with such beast play! The latest addition of Millenium was Feast. In less than 8 months, he proved himself to be a good player. Dragon will train in Millenium's house, if he still has the same level afterwards it will be a failure. For now, Dragon is just an average EU player.

It's the other way around, to counter it and be ahead the zerg needs to take a very fast 3rd base, and then start pumping roaches at 7, 7:15 (a bit earlier than Stephano would).
