I always got taught in school that Scandinavia = Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, from common history/culture.

I don't understand either why sc2 has to be like every other sports

Because viewers can't see every part of the game on the screen, unlike all these other sports. This means there needs to be someone explaining what the observer is showing. Otherwise, without controlling the view, watchers would get lost.

Start there and then go through the comic. It explains the scandinavian (and nordic) countries as well as deals with stereotypes in a brilliantly humoristic manner.

Also: Finland could be a part of Scandinavia, but only when they accept us Swedes as their masters and superiors like they used to

Yeah I'm sure it's so easy watching the audience do charades whilst playing at the same time.

if anyone actually wanted to coordinate with someone in the audience, it would be ridiculously easy

Wouldn't it be glaringly obvious if the player keeps glancing over his screen?

Due to how SC2 is atm (casters being bigger personalities than players almost), it's part of the attraction of coming out to a live event.

yea i know, but it shouldnt be like that. live events should try to evolve and get away from that attitude

But why? What would they gain by not having the commentators present?

Yeah. One raised hand would mean expansion, 2 hands pressure, standing up would mean all-in.

Why does the dane has to stand in the middle? Clearly Sweden is the most important one. *trollface*

It's for peace keeping, if they switched places the Norwegian guy would punch him in the face.

Actually the norwegian should be in the middle, Sweden and Denmark pretty much has the world record for number of wars fought between two nations

Yep, long time ago. Even Artosis called him a cheater, iirc. Never got confirmed though, Leta said it was just an eyeroll. And Artosis simply has something personal against Leta :p
