gedatsu 1286 Posts April 18 2012 09:17 GMT #293 Game rating system should have the following system: Amazing Good Bad and only those three options. problem with the last system is that there was no distinction between a good game and the best game ever. there was also no clear rule of when to vote "if you have time". a point/star system suffers from assigning arbitrary numerical values. people will have wildly different ideas of what qualifies as a 5/5 star game: some say that only the absolutely perfect game can get 5, while others will think that "a great game" deserves full score. if you don't believe me; there used to be point rankings in the summary articles on the front page, go and check them out and see how many you agree with. amazing/good/bad solves all of these problems.
