All the relevant BW foreigners are also relevant foreigners? Fact of the matter is that there weren't many relevant foreigners in BW. Also, the "WarCraft 3 stigma" is more for Korean players. As in Korea, BW was still alive and kicking when WC3 came out, so to be a WC3 progamer was kind of saying a) its too hard to be a bw progamer and/or b) you're not good enough to be a bw progamer.

like who? i hope you don't sincerely think that idra or ret are ever a threat to take a championship any time soon.

agree bout the korean war3 players though.

Not that WC3 players arent doing good in Europe, but that's an overstatement isn't it?

I'm not sure how you define relevant but.....

If by "relevant" you mean serious title contenders vs fields of Koreans then it's pretty much Huk, Stephano and arguaaaaaaaaaably Naniwa... Which is 3 players lol

Maybe Thorzain or Kas too?

arguaaaaaaaaaably is in Ro16 Code S?

He got a seed and won two bo3. It's not that big of a deal -_-

Don't flame Naniwa fans, it was impressive but no THAT impressive

If that's not that big of a deal, then placing decent at recent foreign tournaments isn't either...I'm not saying NaNiwa is the best foreigner but he's certainly up there with Stephano and HuK, HuK especially.

He problem is he does questionable decisions, or fails to transition out of a unit comp when he is in the lead. If he would fix thoes things he could be really good

How is Soccer overrated? Or are you over-rating him by the praise Khaldor and Artosis are giving?

He hasn't done anything in SC2 worthy of note, when he was in WeMadeFOX, he was subpar and easily outshined by Naniwa as F.United's top toss player during their run in GSTL. If anything I guess he's underrated after putting up that performance (excluding the horrific move command blunder).

Well Artosis is prasing him, and since I kinda know how people react, everybody will start thinking this protoss is pretty good (just made 1 bad mistake).

This guy isn't good. He played badly as well through the whole game.

I think aLive outplayed him all game. Not sure how good Soccer is really, his build was good anyway :p

Alive outplayed him in what way? Building cloack banshees and attacking because soccers robo was idle for 20 seconds? And then you do way too much damage because socccer has terrible multitasking?

And for some weird reason you get ahead 200 food to 140 food even though you "only killed around 20 probes at that time (like 10 too many).

Alives harass play was nothing fantastic. He just had solid macro and soccer had terrible macro and terrible multitasking and got insanely far behind. Then alive kinda overcommited, then soccer kinda overcommited. Then soccer underproduced HT and followed it by movecommanding. This was just a mediocore game by alive who made a few mistakes and won against a bad (bad in relation to most GSL players) protoss player (trust me on this - this guy isn't GSL material.)

He´s just being modest. Only a few foreigners have gone past ro16 ( I can think of three)

Its hard to say arguably when you advanced in code S group. I mean it wasnt the pretiest group but he has a history of pulling it off. I havnt seen Thorzain play in awhile, so I would assume he fell off a little and cant be listed with those 3. I havnt seen Kas much at all but that is just because I never see him on listings to events I watch.
