why should they have to go through all that effort to find out something that should be easily noticable? whos to say there that dedicated to figure it out?

if someone jsut getting into E-sports they may not be willing to search the entire interwebs to figure out whos playing

Everybody else would be familiar with the players in the GSL. These 'noobs' that you're referring to, that would be venturing into the LR thread for the first time would just check the results and then leave.

First time coming into Esports? Then why would they even care who's playing?

For people who don't watch the GSL (i.e 'noobs'), then they just view the results and move on - like you would with other tournaments.

there new, there checking out TL, see the GSL thread, think to themselves "hey my friend told me about some cool players in the GSL ill see whos palying" enter the thread BAM no idea at all whos playing so they leave and dont watch

if there new to LR threads they wouldnt know that the results part already has there names written down, they might scroll around a bit not see the names so they jsut give up they wouldnt check the results page since the tournament hasnt started

They could just do what every person does when they don't know something. Google it or look it up on Wikipedia (More specifically Liquipedia)

you have to search the pages to actualyl find the link, its right at the top of the page and pretty small so i missed it the first time

then it takes you to a page with all the groups and you have to figure out which one is actually playing today

its needlessy complicated when theres no reason not to have there names in the OP
