Hmm but he was also in the GSL Open Season 1 and has been in 3 Code A's before making it here finally. Thus is anyone who comes from Code A to S for the first time a potential Royal Roader? It's far less impressive than I imagined it to be then if that's the case. I thought it would be a complete prelim -> tournament -> champion flawless run. Still impressive of course, but I imagined it more interestingly since it was first thrown around for ForGG. Even though you know there had been like 50 previous Code S newbies last year with the same chance.
And how many of those 50 Code S newbies got close to winning?

I guess it just really depends on how you view Code A now, before when it was a complete tournament and we had champions of Code A like Puzzle and Curious I would say It was a part of the tournament in a bigger way, but now there's three rounds until you reach Code S so I see it a lot more like prelims for a starleague.

You clearly have selective hearing issues >_>
Curious is going to have to be very effective with his mutas to win this game I think, Gumiho is so strongly set up.

seeing a tvz on entombed really reminded me of drg vs marineking at mlg... that was one crazy game

the closest anyone ever got to being a royal roader is Oz, pretty sure. Got into code A, instantly into the finals, then got Code S, instantly to semifinals.

I SO miss Tastosis That's funny, because earlier today casters were blamed for criticizing the players to much.
