Age of 14, his career has barely taken off and he's already clearly holding his own against the best.

I wish there was a way to differentiate 2rax and 2rax, as in, the gasless early 2rax that owns nexus first, or the reactor techlab 2rax that...owns nexus first. I dunno what you'd change, and they make sense in context, but it's when you say "oh he won that game with a 2rax" you're left wondering which 2rax it was.
I dunno, pointless rant I suppose, just a tad irritating.

A simple 30 supply nexus with good micro can hold a 2 rax with only 1 proxied.

Well it's pretty easy to do, flash was really young too when he started, and he became a notorious cheeser when he took out Bisu, right?

LOL Don't you know that Flash own people left and right with his cheesy play at 14 years old. It is reminscence of what Flash did. Maru is the youngest player to date and he beat Gumiho and Hero and this is his first Code S.

I really don't understand... This are pro-gamers and a mere mortal like me can know this... I'm pretty sure you would have a bit harder time proccessing information playing infront of tens of thousands in a gsl game Then again, if you can't play straight in front of tens of thousands in a GSL, you don't deserve to stay in GSL Code S. You just have to learn to live with it and cope with it, because it's not going to change, y'know? It's not really a valid excuse at this level of play, IMO. I understand the pressure, I just believe that the players need to learn to live with it.
.. how do you learn to live with it without trying first? Next time he won't make that mistake.

Flash was just like Maru when he first started winning so.. why not. You can't know what will happen. You didn't know Flash would become what he is at the time either.

Time for a rematch of the closest and most exciting 3-0 beatdown I think I ever saw.

Royal Road, successor, MarinePrincePrime (MPP), heir to the throne, Maru (means "a violent storm" in estonian) is so easy to root for ^^

Well there is sooo much ptential in a young kid. he goes to school, so he didnt had the same practice time and stuff and he still manages to clinch into RO16 as 1st into his group! he is no flash yet, but he might have the talent to get there in a few years

His tech came late etc his early 3rd was only slightly ahead of maru's

Which basically put maru only on equal footing with HerO. HerO lost it when he warped in 2 sentries against the marine run by, then attacked with his probes, then his units, pulling back his units then sending them back in again. Maru basically did the maximum possible damage he could possibly dream of.. People keep missing that, regardless if right or wrong, Hero did this for a reason. His Nexus had very little hitpoints from the earlier bunker damage, and could've easily been focused down by those marines very quickly. So the sentries and the probe pull/attack were to buy time so he didn't lose his nexus. He did save the Nexus, but the damage done set of the chain reaction which led to the loss. Pretty important to realise why he did what he did though. It was the difference between keeping all 3 bases, and being down to 2.
Losing around 30 workers is better and 2 sentries?LOL Hero choked hard.
