MKP's control is unholy. I'm not even talking about his kiting or anything, its the subtle movement of 4 marauders and 3 marines at a time within the overall ball to maximize firing surface while minimizing losses, its the little pre-positioning tricks to force favourable engages, its the perfect drops, its the abusing of colossi range, keeping his forces on the very edge of the sweeps and even timing it out to avoid them.

Yeah, but both games MKP hit before the 3rd base started to pay for itself and either took out the third and/or caused significant army losses for the Protoss while safely taking his 3rd. (Also, as EV is a small map, going for the 3rd was risky and I don't know why MC choose Antiga.) And yeah, it is a "meta-game" shift by some Protoss for that fast 3rd base - if so, MKP really bored into it and found some exploitable weaknesses. Kudos to MKP though, he played brilliantly. Terran (and Zerg) played at the highest level are beautiful to watch.

Of course it was amazing control but a big part of winning this game was also that MKPs build worked out so well. When MC scouted his super fast double ebay 1-1 was already done or almost done.
So? There is no faster option to scout that build. Please don't make it sound like a cheese, otherwise every Protoss double-forge build would be as well. MKP was save against most stuff, and you can never be safe against everything. Some people just don't want to see good play.
Without his control, the 2-2 upgrades wouldn't have won him the fight. MC had a very early 3rd.

He definitely found some sort of weakness because PartinG was beating tons of people with it but he keeps getting rolled by Marineking and then lost to Ghostking
