why on earth is the price for one championship premium 20dollar? are you serious?
i was SO pumped and thought to show them that PPV is not the best option i will support this premium-system and buy a pass. wouldve bought it for 10 and under 10 for sure. 15 dollar i might have considered but 20? wow.
guess that is what the areneevent brought us.. thanks to all the people who bought the arena pass due to you spending 20 dollar for one weekend is the new standard price! supporting esports i guess.

i know i can buy gold for 30 which means 30/4 per event which would be 7.5 (totaly fine) but i am realy pissed about the 20 dollar price. i dont get the price.. 4 events for 30 or one for 10 would be logical. then it would be better to buy gold then each championship solo..
i realy dont get that price i mean pretend the arena was worth 20 dollars. this time i could watch it up to 480p for free.
i i pay for 720/1080p and 2 other streams.
at the arena i payed for 4 complete streams in all qualities. and a better lineup. i dont get this price..
might consider just watching it for free...

$20 isn't that much for a weekend of content. I would spend that much just going to the movies.

Open bracket winner should get a tournament price as well.
That is one impossible gauntlet to run.

I don t care about your spendings, it's about the principle. Since when a weekend event has 20$ price as the norm. Also EU has to pay the full price as those who get to see it live. MLG get's it...

Last year events were 10 and Providence was 50. Also, Gold membership is 30 and covers all 4 championship events but is gone after this sunday.

As a Premium User you get...

DVR functionality is the ability to skip back to any part in the broadcast, right? sad that this is now only available to premium users

You're posting this because....?

Yes MLG should TOTALLY cater to a timezone that it isn't taking place in because every single event ever has done that. Oh wait whats that? No live events do that?

Sounds like you just want to complain because you dislike MLG.

You know what, I get it.

This would make me sad as well. I was hoping to have the DVR functionality.

It's a complete non-issue. MLG has always been terrible for EU viewers, same as GSL has always been terrible for NA viewers and IEM has always been terrible for KR viewers. You can't please everyone.. This schedule has worked since forever, so i really dont get why people are complaining about it z_Z

Can only watch 1 and 2. Streams 3 and 4 require premium access.

Sorry if Im slow or something but in correlation to the schedual and channels above, Central, GP1-3, Im guessing its Central and GP1?

Actually that's the thing, that you can please all the foreigners. Korea doesn't care about MLG anyway, but EU does. Just start 3 hours earlier and bam, solved.

You assume way too much. I never said I disliked MLG or the TimeZone etc.. Yes I guess I am complaining in a sense.. but only becus I love MLG tourneys like this one and would have loved to watch it, sadly with the timezone and everything, I just can't justify watching this tourney, which sucks, cus I really want to.. But it's just not doable.. Bah..

I really didnt want to elaborate on this but I guess it would be nice if they put the vods up for viewing asap, so I could catch up during the day, but I have a feeling that either A) wont be possible or B) that will cost money, And honestly I already used like 40 dollars on sc2 stream stuff this month as far as I recall, don't really want to shell out 20 more.. But I guess I will have to if I want to follow this tourney.. meh.. Not the same if youre not watching it live anyway..

Anyways, not trying to stir up a debate, just relaying that im a sad panda, cus this tourney seems kickass and I really wanted to watch it live the whole way through. such is life. xD

Its been like that for years now....

There are plenty of other events at good time zones. Many people tend to just stay up and screw up their sleeping for one weekend every couple of months for MLG anyway.

Don't know if it fits in here, or somewhere else, but i found this article on through reddit (on ESFIWorld). They show each a group and their relative stats (fx. in group A Sase is 0-5 compared to the other 3 in his group, whereas MKP is 21-13 compared to the other 3).

link: http://esfiworld.com/feature/flexner-stat-corner-mlg-winter-championship-preview

There is a lot of "preview MLG" articles going around now, I just thought this was a bit different.

I thought! I thought!
