I think that, like almost all matchups, once you get 2 reaaaaally good players, any matchup can be awesome.
Examples:
PvP - JYP vs MC, HSC4 PvZ - DRG vs MC, BlizzCup PvT - MC vs Puma Games 4/5, MC vs MKP in this very tournament
All of those matchups can be considered shit/boring, but once you get insane players, it's irrelevant.

zzz. yeah why doesn't everybody just sit on their ass until 4 base. I'm not complaining, it's just boring. That 2 base blink stalker all in has been used SO MUCH. I'd imagine you could say that about almost every build you'll see this weekend
But 2 base blink stalker all in has been around since the BETA.

zzz This is PvZ. What did you expect? Some innovation after more than a year of protosses having the mentality of "2base or die trying". Zerg went from roach/hydra/corruptor into baneling drops into roach/infestor into ling/infestor into roach/ling/muta and with a spine crawler reliant brood lord/infestor base lategame. What did protoss do, well bro we either 2base or go for archon toilets.
they believe it gives them the best chance to win. Hooray for innovation. o;

zzz This is PvZ. What did you expect? From Huk? Nothing really. It's just boring seeing it work despite not even being that well executed. It's like the old 1/1/1 phase in TvP. This. It's insanely stale. We have literally been seeing the same things from Protoss for ages now, it's like they don't even know how to expand past a natural or something before 18 minutes.
You know what happens when you leave Zerg alone and try to take a fast third without gaining some sort of advantage in the early game?
200 vs 110-120 supply and the Zerg rolls you over, this is the basis of Stephano's ZvP.
Unless you trade with insane cost efficiency which is very difficult.
It's just how the matchup is right now.

Not exactly the most accurate thing ever. 50% also picked MC against MKP who hasn't lost a TvP series in forever At least MC just won a major tournament against another top tier TvPer. Naniwa isn't even in DRG's league. But yes, I favored MKP in that match even as an MC fan.

Pretty poor play by ret, and nice capitalizing on ret's mistakes by socke.

I HATE THAT CHEVY COMMERCIAL

Is it me or is something wrong with the tournament model when you Stephano, Polt for eg having to win through some meaningless games to play in Rd 4 just to have the right to play Sheth then more games so they have the same priveldges as Pool play...Pool play seems like a joke to me...great matches yes....fair tournament model no

1 month ago, against Genius in group play of GSL.
And yes, I know it's Genius, and I know he's still 3-2 against him overall. But still. He lost a PvT series recently ^_^

As much as that meme is, well, whatever it is, it seems like so, so many casters just do not do anything to educate themselves. It seems criminal that people who do it professionally somehow ends up with so little knowledge both about the game and about the players. d'Apollo is not perfect, but his research into what the hell is going on is something to be emulated for sure.
I have said it before, but whenever the question comes up casters will say that they are too busy. Busy doing what? Some of them might be semi-professional and have outside jobs, in which case I guess I can kind of understand, though to be fair tons of TL people with full time jobs have a lot more knowledge. But mostly it is full-time casters. It is mind-boggling.

I really like the fact that JP seems to have little interest in stupid random caster shenanigans. Shut down Rob's Boo-Boo probe pretty quick.

Heh. At the MLGs, the... large... crowd winds up getting there early, and camping seats. I assure you, there are more active people floating along the back and edges, sitting on the floor, and in the player's pit. (Most of the pros look pretty fit - the foreign ones at least.) Also, at the FPS/Fighter game stages. Or trying (in vain) to pick up the Dr. Pepper girls.

Shit, GanZi just got rolled the second that tank spawned, very convenient timing ^^ despite having even worker counts MKP is bounds ahead.

watching from MLG is SOOOOO much smoother than watching from Twitch.tv don't know how they do it so well.
