basically Australia has atleast a dozen players who are competitive with the top level foreigners, its just youll never hear of them because opportunities for them to get noticed on the international scene are limited

I really doubt this, its only a few countries that even have a dozen "good" players (In this meaning good as in competetive with koreans), Ukraine and Sweden comes to mind, and not even they got a dozen of them, to say that Australia got a dozen players that are as a good as Stephano, Thorzain, HuK etc. is more like wishfull thinking imho.

Such a sick lineup. Sickest lineup even, I should say! Rooting for PokeBunny, that guy is probably one of the most talented players out there.

The language of the Ukraine is Ukrainian by the way, which is very close to Russian.

Slight fuck up on chris's part i think. When he says top he doesn't mean top top, he means 'High' For foreigner standards IE the level below Thor/Stehp/HuK/nAni....so like dde, sjow, haypro kind of level which Australia does indeed have a lot of players of equal skill level (Iaguz, PiG, Mafia, Rossi, tgun, etc etc) then mOOnGLaDe who if anyone says is less than top world standard when he is actually active is kidding themselves (see WCG/IEM WC)

Although I think, that you are slightly underestimating Sjow here, I agree with your general point.

My god the casters are awful (Mr.Bitter is ok). This guy Axeltoss and his awkwardness/weirdness has already ruined my Lone Star and MLG experience.
Looks like I'm going to watch the Millenium caster, even though my French is mieh.

Excited for this. I love (no offense intended to players) 2nd tier invitationals. I am much bigger fans and more invested when I can root for these players and not have the fear of code S koreans in a round or two. This should be super competitive and entertaining...until sheth smashed everyone and rightfully so.

Destiny/catz fighting!

Will you mention other results than these 4 today, too, or will you wait, until the entire groupstage is finished before you do that?

Ha wow. Sorry to hear that =/ (I wont be casting all the time, not exactly sure the schedule but there should be a good variety of casters for this tournament so hopefully you can still enjoy it)
