Sponsored by Steelseries/Coca Cola/Mamoz ect.
Might also add that he lost to the guy that took 2nd place in WCG and won a Stage match vs F91.

Voting system is also being abused heavily. Some Aus kid has already typed in "google.com and searched for free web proxys and spamm voted"

Should be a Showmatch of a bo5-bo7 of who gets the spot. this is actully just hilarious.

Now, going off your post history (which is pretty hilarious) I'd say you are a pretty big Snute fan, if not, his biggest groupie. But your ignorance and blatant disrespect for other players is actually disgusting. You are very passionate about your favourite player which I totally understand, but it does not excuse your rudeness towards others. You need to relax a bit pal.

Im his BIGGEST FAN! 4sure. I hate when people that don't deserve something get it just because their the only one from "that community" that can actully play the game half decent. and someone that has worked harder then any of you would know gets screwed because of it. Happends time and time again in Esports, it just makes it insanely frustrating. i can bring up 10 other players that deserved that spot more then PiG that didnt get the shot. yet Because hes from SEA he has all these Aus kiddies that think he deserves the spot, eventho hes posted bad results consistently outside SEA before this Tournament.

Im not hating on the kid, hes obviously Good, but not good enough to get the spot (IMO)

By that logic would this not be the perfect opportunity for him to prove himself?

Most Norwegians would love to see our national hope GLSnute in as many tourneys as possible, and I totally understand why the SEA-community is voting for PiG. I had never heard of him before this vote started, but as previously stated by someone that doesn't meen he sucks, just that he hasn't been given any opportunities.
That being said: GOGO SNUTE

Nah man i totally get national pride! Its great to see such passion in eSports! But as I have said previously, the main issue I have is the hate being showed towards PiG. No-one is hating on Snute, but as soon as PiG takes the lead on the poll, it seems half the Norwegians go on the offensive and start bashing him as a player. I just don't think that is the right attitude to have.

I totally agree. There is no point in showing anything but respect for all the players taking part in this vote.

You also have to remember that we in the Norwegian community always draw the shortest straw, and this is finally somewhere our only fulltime proffessional player has a real shot at an invitiaional of this magnitude. It's probably just how the human brain works, not that I'm a rocket surgeon

Yeah I don't appreciate you calling us 'Aus kiddies'. And you are actually hating on him a bit. Do you honestly know how hard PiG has worked? Do you honestly know how hard snute has worked (you might, you seem the stalker type to be honest)? Do you think that Snute deserves the spot?

And can you call one major tourney outside Australia consistent bad results? I guess its consistent in a way, just doesn't seem right to me.

What? He always wins any voting polls because of Norway, he had enough chances and someone else should take it now.

To others: dont compare skill in this poll because Nerchio should probably get the spot and both Snute and Pig are months behind him and dont hate the opposing player, this kind of polls are popularity contests and by having this kind of thing stream will have more viewers which this poll is all about.

They should just play showmatch bo5 and play for last spot.

You're right.
Screw anybody else, lets just fill the competition with Koreans because thats clearly the point of this event, right?

There's a difference in giving upcoming players a chance and clearly adding a player several classes lower to an event.

He went 0-6 at Guangzhou...

Good work qouting a tournament from last year which was his first live event and was obviously nervous and new to.

It wasn't his first life event and don't make it sound like it was THAT long ago... it was in October.

You're so out of line. Since participating at IEM Guangzhou (as a teamless, unsupported player) he's been picked up by Tt eSports exclusively, in the same capacity as WhiteRa. It may have only been 6 months, but it's been a huge leap forward for the guy. The fact that you're labeling his performance at IEM "embarrassing" means you didn't even see the games, you're just looking at some stats and pretending to have a clue.

There is so much talent all over the world - in Korea, Europe, America, South East Asia, and elsewhere - that simply hasn't been given their opportunity to shine. The GSL produces a new star every season (San.Zenith, anyone?) but I don't see you shitting on the unknown players in those events?

My advice? If you're not informed, reserve your opinion. The ONOG guys said they're probably gonna invite 3 people at this stage anyway, so hey - everybody wins. For someone of your title, some diplomacy wouldn't go astray.

mki and co, give it up. You're just making yourselves look bad.

We're here supporting PiG, not hating on snute or anyone else.

Grow up a little, yeah? You'll end up giving Snute fans overall a bad reputation. It's not fair to the rest of them who aren't carrying on.

I honestly just wish everyone would accept us as part of the global StarCraft community. This "KR > Foreigners > SEA" bullshit has gone on for so long and it's tiring. I don't know why we're being categorised as some ludicrous minority when we have just as many players in the upper tiers of the NA/KR servers as anyone else. More often than not, any player or event from our region is automatically dismissed simply because of geographic location.

You like StarCraft. I like StarCraft. That should be grounds for unity, not disparity.
Peace.

Dox and Tgun are truly very smart people. To the guy thats hating on PiG because you don't believe he deserves a spot because of some games 6 months ago which were a lot closer than the score line suggested when he was teamless and supporting himself at an event that was way bigger than what he was used to. You need to play more and see how much you can improve at whatever skill level you are at then think I wonder what a smart person could do in 6 months. Because my bet by your lack of understanding is pig would get a hell of a lot better than you in 6 months and maybe after getting to IEM he has competed in more events so he won't have as many nerves. Please learn to try to look from another perspective other than your narrow one espically before posting on team liquid.

Good day

So that completely misses the point Dox was making. If PiG wins or not shouldn't change the way people view the SEA community. Just because people In america/europe have only really seen a few people in the SEA community such as Moonglade, Tgun and Targa doesn't mean thats all we have. Sure SEA is a smaller server and guess what we know that. Did you know most grandmaster level players in SEA are generally playing the Korean ladder too? or if the ping is too bad the NA one? even so this isn't the point the fact that you are judging someone ahead of time(or from a rookie experience 6 months ago) is disgusting to say the least. You are pretty much saying that someone born from a certain country is less of a player born from another which is simply not true. Espically for a game played over the internet.....

Considering how even it is between those 3 and how far ahead they are I agree

Nerchio ftw!

Why do people from Norway and Australia spam in this thread about who is good and who is not, when it bumps the thread and works better for me than for Snute/Pig :D

Invite the top 3, some of these guys in the votes will trash tons of the invitees on the list, its sad that people are getting invited in bias alone :/

who is Snute anyway? obviously some low league maybe up and coming player... Should send PiG - at least that guy qualified for an international tournament, is sponsored similarly to White-Ra, is a representative of SEA and a high level professional player..

Who's Snute?..

GOGO PiG...

http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/Snute

Beasty.... OGNOG is all about popularity... Its for the drunkards at barcrafts.

Watching what this has turned into makes me ashamed to be Norwegian. There's no reason at all to turn this into a hatewar. Yes it's great to vouch for your nations' player but it's just stupid to insult other nations' players just because they might pull of a win. You can be damned sure Snute himself would be disapointed by fans acting like morons spewing shit on public forums like some individuals are doing here now.

The vote isn't about skill, if it was then Nerchio should advance of the top three, as would most likely the top three players agree with aswell. The vote is about which person the viewers would like see come through. Please don't make one players fanbase start hating on another player just because you want your voting option to win. Thanks to a few retarded norwegians alot of TtPiG's fanbase will now hate on Snute (which is a damned nice guy), just because some of the fans are idiots.

Well done, I hope Nerchio advances now so this shit won't escalate further, frikkin retards.
