Why would he? This is an awesome story. I will not miss this guy's GSL match. I cannot say that for 90% of the players in Code A.

It wasn't the wrong LighT...it was the wrong person.

Fixed though.

He wouldn't and shouldn't give up his Code A spot, but it's not an awesome story. It's a terrible one. Massive oversight by GOM not to do the bracket fillings after players have registered and confirmed that they are attending.

Maybe they don't think they will have enough time to do that? Honestly, why the fuck would you sign up for something if you don't plan on attending? How about you have to put a deposit down on your spot when you register and when you show up you get your deposit back?

Getting a free ride through most of the the tournament while players like Jinro (who gave up a code A seed himself, if I recall correctly) repeatedly claw their way up way up through the bracket only to have to wait another quarter of a year to try again... There would definitely be an atmosphere of not having "earned it". I'd say more than a few players would be pissed off and would hardly view it as an "interesting" or "fortunate" turn of events..

If Jinro had just beaten Cella he'd be the one taking the spot right.
