Getting a free ride through most of the the tournament while players like Jinro (who gave up a code A seed himself, if I recall correctly) repeatedly claw their way up way up through the bracket only to have to wait another quarter of a year to try again... There would definitely be an atmosphere of not having "earned it". I'd say more than a few players would be pissed off and would hardly view it as an "interesting" or "fortunate" turn of events.. | ||
