Can we see a playlist for the songs IEM used over the course of this event?

its a convention 90% who are sitting there never heard of starcraft or anything

Not true - yes Cebit is worlds biggest electronic convention, but IEM has their own area and pretty sure you pay to get in there aswell.

No, you don't.

They are waiting for league of legends.

I think this is a good marketing trick to have many competitions before League of Legends. You get 100k people to watch things that they'd normally never ever watch.

SC2 is "dying" compared to LoL.

We need HoTS to spice things up and bring back some of the viewers. But it will never go past 140k views, LoL is a casual game with the stream in the game client which means any player can click on the stream and watch it. Starcraft has a more dedicated community but unfortunately the developer, Blizzard, loses greatly to Riot Games when it comes to promoting the game.

Last GSL had 3 times more viewer than previous GSLs.:D

Weird, I guess it's getting more populair in Korea, because there are less and less people playing on ladder each season.

You simply have no idea how many people don't play the game and watches tournaments. I'll tell you, it's a lot.

Recap: Puma ahead in upgrades, ahead in army supply, ahead with third base. Lots of damage done to MC early game...also Puma holds off blink stalker all-in...MC hits 1 storm to win game, also is able to hit 2/2 b4 Terran's 1/1 is even finished and then hits 3/3 while Terran stuck on 2/2 due to chrono boost + cheaper upgrades.

Congrats MC... ....

As a terran you just don't force the engagement up the third's ramp knowing there are chargelots and HTs... MC didn't force the engagement up the rampe of Puma's natural, while Puma did the exact opposite in MC's third.

I don't get what you mean, forcing engagements up ramps vs multiple bunkers won MC many tournaments, including GSLs.

He didn't in this game, and as you can imagine I'm talking about this game and not about MC's whole career.

Me too. That still doesn't mean I'd ever want to watch people throwing T-shirts into the audience, and I doubt the 99.999 others do either.

How can people watch MOBA games. They are not spectator friendly, not to mention half the game is folks battling AI guys. Makes no sense.
Thank you bureaucrats for all your hard work, your commitment to public service and public good is essential to the lives of so many. Also, for Pete's sake can we please get some gun control already, no need for hand guns and assault rifles for the public

About the "SC2 is dying"-post, I chose the wrong word.

But still, it angers me when I see no initiative from Blizzard trying to support my favourite game to the extent that it will surpass its competitors. Just some passive rage from me after seeing those stream numbers. XD

But yeah, SC2's community is the best and with it Starcraft surely will expand its horizons.
