Was there a series in this tournament where Korhal wasn't vetoed? Can't remember seeing a single game on that map.

No Americanos awake at this time of day.

That affects the other games as well...

SC2 esports scene getting stale. Need HotS imo.

HOTS will give a much needed boost, yes. Tomorrow there's gonna be more information about it!

Wow, the LoL stream has 120k viewers. It seems that the game is gaining some good momentum in viewership; I wonder how it will fare against Dota 2.

If u go play a lol game u will see the stream in the game client u just have to press play, blizzard should do that too xD

Indeed, that is something that almost all MOBA games are doing. Dota 2 even has a nice, simple automatic director that moves your camera around to follow the action.

Games are done for today, since the first quarterfinal has been rescheduled for some reason.

What the hell it's only like ten to three in germany at the moment, that's really weird of them to end todays games so early.

Yet ASUS ROG had 30k steady viewers and 50k in the finals.
It really is (at least for a great part) due to the unfortunate scheduling. Uncomfortable both to Americans and Europeans.
Saying that something is killing esports is killing esports.

I didnt watch today's games so maybe its a bit ignorant to say but for me this tournament is as boring as expected.

Koreans own, the only question is who is going to own the most. About every top foreigner I know at least something and can tell a few things about his personality etc., about the Koreans I dont know anything so why would I care about who becomes the new World Champion. Random Korean A, B or C?!
Sorry =/

I feel so sorry for people like you

MMA, MC, BOXER, DRG, MKP, POLT etc are way more interesting than your top foreigners (and most likely are better as well)

I was talking about this tournament specifically and I didnt mean to disrespect Korean players.

So I dont watch GSL too often nor do I read too much about the Korean scene and that is what I know.

Violet seems a cool guy judging from some interviews and IEM Sao Paolo but the interviews were very superficial so you dont get to know much about him.
MMA is a great player and a GSL champion, thats it.
MC seems funny and put on a good show at MLG.
No clue about JYP, Puma, Killer, Zenio and Supernova.

I also respect that you are defending your stars but you should keep in mind that for a large part of the audience it is not so easy to keep track with all the Koreans since at almost every major tournament a new Korean appears and owns everyone.

The only reason why we dont see Koreans only at major tournaments with maybe 2-3 top foreigners is because the events use invitationals and regional qualifiers and that most Korean players still dont have the financial support to attend a lot of events.

yes they should.
When u click play in the lol client u get forwarded to an entire tournament page about the whole IEM LoL event, it's really nice.

I'm still not sure about LoL as an e-sports game, but RIOT sure knows how to market their game 100million times better then Blizzard.

No, it's really easy.

You watch GSL you know every Korea. It's simple all unified into one tournament.
