Killer throws down the GTG.

Violet desperately needs a 4th base up and running - especially on the gas

great game. not perfect, not extremely skilled, but entertaining. goes to show you can't make 36 mutas against their intended counter and win.

It is a completely different metagame nowadays and you will find almost everyone that used to be considered the best PvPers are doing quite mediocre recently. A lot of victories came from people with superior micro winning four gate wars, or busting out new build orders no one had ever seen. Hush. baby. hush.
There there.
Not mockin no one. Just asking for some peace

yeah was a pretty good game - though I feel Killer could have done way better. He was so far behind in upgrades even though he had an insane bank at least in the first half of the game.

a faster hive with way more broods instead of over making those mutas would have been sooo much better

He is trying to drag stalkers away from the possible 4th base, but stalkers are so many, so mobile and so deadly .

So we set the TPLD since then aaaaand lo and behold, Elfi still manages to keep 66% win rate. Its kind of like he is reliably great at PvP and your argument is stupid.
And WhiteRa has a 44% overall record and just beat MC. 66% isn't reliably great, it's pretty good but it's not fantastic. MC is probably around 66% recently and he still lost to WhiteRa who lost to Elfi. Elfi is a weird player, he is pretty much an example of the randomness of PvP. Either Bitter or Rotterdam mentioned earlier that Elfi just does random fake outs into something nonsensical like a one gate expo that shouldn't work, and he still wins somehow.

IEMs map-pool ends up in killer vs socke playing on 2 P-favored maps and Antiga that may be evenly balanced, may have a small slant towards protoss. Stupido!

Poor viOlet just can't secure a fourth on Antiga.

Violet is GG, 2-1 for JYP

JYP stalker control always amazes me

Omg those last 3 storms of JYP
|
HUGE storms for JYP. Finally Violet GG'ed. Great game

I must say, Apollo is on fire today.. .spitting SC2 truth left and right!

gg JYP over ViOlet, our foreign Koreans fought it out well. I wish ViOlet could have gotten a hold on a fourth base so he could take it to the late game.
|
Glad to see JYP shake off the early loss against MMA and come out and take out an extremely good zerg

MC : HasuObs = 1:0, hows the 2nd game going?

Elfi is definitely a weird player, but he is also great at PvP. I rest my case.

Metropolis is a great map for Socke to do exactly the same thing he did on Entombed Valley, get a 3rd quickly enough, deny aggression while doing some damage of his own with air, and also deny air dominance.
