Elfi got the advantage to be able to do that by playing slightly greedier without scouting though. That's not necessarily a better decision, that's what makes PvP coinflippy. You can't scout your opponent and react, you just execute your build and hope yours is superior. Elfi also isn't expected to win. He can lose in the group stages here (just like he does at most LAN's) and no one cares. Where as MC has to win because he's MC. So Elfi takes a lot of risks because he has nothing to lose.
I have no problem with such posts right up until the point where they are not based on actual results.
Going through his tournaments of the last year, starting at the most recent.
Assembly Winter: Advance through group, go to Ro8.
WCG: Falls in group stages.
Dreamhack Winter: Advance in group stage 1, falls in group stage 2.
ESWC: Win his group, go to Ro16.
IEM NY: Win his group, go to Ro8.
Assembly Summer: Win his group, go to Ro8.
Dreamhack Summer: Falls in group stages.
So in 7 tournaments he advanced through the group stages 5 times. How does falling 2 times in 7 tournaments qualify as mostly?
