MLG Winter Arena Day 2 - Page 2

Apparently some people are dumb enough to STILL be asking for it, so let's make things clear: Do NOT ask for re-streams, and do NOT post re-streams. Do not come here and muddle the thread by bitching about PPV.

Is there a page on twitch for each of the streams? Probably could use the twitch app for that.

I imagine MLG will annouce later if its great, and if its not great then they may just make some statement about adjusting price/whatnot. Yesterdays issues with some people getting to watch for free seemed to entice people to buy once mlg fixed the issues, so that may help the nonbuyers today if those issues dont arise again. Id say 25-30kish people prolly purchased as a high, and around 15kish as a low (id imagine the dr pepper stream getting about 1/3rd of the viewers the other streams get if that). This number isn't all that bad considering Asus is running with about 40k viewers atm.

Thats the only stream we can pull up numbers for though (with a little bit of math of course). They dont show us the numbers. I was just posting the numbers. The numbers im posting imo are more than what anybody would have guessed. If they are pulling in half a million or more on sub's im betting they are pleased, and 25k+ would give that. I will admit i expected around 10kish, and hope that even with this sucess, they realize a 15 dollar price could get them 30-35k+ (imo of course). All this said, MLG is doing pretty fucking baller right now and showing up the haters.

To reiterate on what this guy is saying. You would need to go to like a wallmart and get one of the prepaid visas they have, or something similar to this if you dont have a Debit Card. For people who dont have Debit Cards, id try and get one, if you have a bank account there is no reason to not have 1, especially in this day and age.

I don't even know what that is. Credit cards aren't common at all in my circles at least, only people I know who have them are people with stable mid-high incomes, not students. I have a debit card I think (assuming it is what I think it is) but it won't let me pay with that either.

I have no credit card and could pay with paypal without any Problems. Do you maybe still have to verify your identity on paypal?
